I noticed my moniter looked wierd so I opened the OSD. Even though it was at 800*600 resolution is at was running at 60 Hz. I did a Grisoft virus test and I found I have a virus...:eek:

Since getting ZoneAlarm, he has stopped AIMing me, and Zone says that 24 access attempts have been blocked. I've had it for about 15 minutes!

i just got macromedia flash MX but i don't have a clue on how to animate in it :-/

Do you have the little timeline thing up? If you don't, go into the "Window" menu and click on "Timeline". If you don't see it, the might be this little grey rectangle that says "Timeline" on it. Click on that. Now that you have the window up, click on the little rectangle with the circle in it in the timeline window. (First frame in the pic) Now draw something. Then right-click on another blank rectangle. Click "Insert keyframe". Now draw something in that keyframe. Press enter. Your animation will play. To make longer frames, either right click "Insert Frame" or press F5 instead of that. Hope that helps. :o

I've never used MX, but I have Flash 5 and let me tell you, the Tutorials really do help a lot. It takes a while to get used to key frames, layers, and symbols, but it's worth it.

Ah. I've always wanted to make one...never got around to it. What plan are you using? (URL?)

I'm using my own plans. I haven't drawn them out, but there's no need as I know exactly what I'm doing. It's going to be a plywood circle with a diameter of 4 ft. (was going to be 5, but plywood is sold in 4*8) Then I'll drill a hole in the center for the leaf blower. Finally it'll have a skirt* made of pond liner, 3" wide. I'd do a more complex design but I'm going to a dry lakebed soon and I want it done by then. (acres upon acres to move around freely)

*The rubber flap thing that hangs down, the black part in my picture. Pond liner isn't the best, but it's what we have and it should work.

To change the topic again, has anyone tried playing GTA:VC (or GTAIII) with nothing but Animutation MP3s in the custom radio station? It adds a whole new dimension of craziness.;)

The Mix is titled "Swimming in Zombie Guts." The place is pretty creepy.:p How many people here wear glasses? I do, although only for distance... I was born with a very rare eye condition called a... I have no idea how it's spelled at all... But it's pronounced colloboma... Anyway, part of my iris never formed, which means my pupils are actually enlongated. Only downwards, not upwards, so no, they're not quite like lizard or cat eyes. Anyway, I can see out of this extended area, thought a lot of it is peripheral (I can usually see my feet while I'm walking.) The only real drawback is that my brain doesn't quite know how to deal with all this extra information, so my eyes are just very slightly out of focus, so yes, I wear glasses.

I got lost in a translation a few times. It is quite scarry there if you don't have a flashlight.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention about my eye thing-- I'm really lucky it was only on my iris. If it had happened on my lens or retina, Id've been totally blind from birth.
