Thief 3 uses the Invisible War engine, so it quite blatently won't run on a GeForce 4 MX. Half-Life 2 will though.

Our HP computer has that card, and I couldn't play the demo of Deus Ex 2 or the new Prince of Persia, so I ended up getting my own PC (with an ATI Radeon 9600). :)

Italy vs. Scotland and England vs. Ireland today! I should catch Ita - Sco on the radio, but Eng - Ire clashes in part with Random Sports, so I may have to leave that earlier than usual if I want to find anywhere to sit to watch the game :p. France vs. Wales tomorrow.

Anyway, I've spent a chunk of this evening trying to MIDIfy Dire Straits' Industrial Disease. This is a major project for me, as I've never found a MIDI for this tune so I'm practically doing it by ear and from scratch (I found a few chords on the Internet, which have set the ball rolling somewhat, but there's one heck of a way to go)

So far, all I have is about half a minute from the beginning of the song, and even then the only instruments I've actually got stuff for are the rock organ and the percussion (so don't expect any of the guitar or piano bits yet!). Anyway, see what you think.

I'd listen, but Windows Media Player doesn't feel like working at the moment. :-/

It's kinda annoying as I have to click the "Nei" button and press Alt+F4 real fast to exit.

I've seen that error before in English on my old school computer. It's a "script error". Some computers tend to have them much more than others for some unknown reason. It's asking if you want to "debug", but I never figured out wtf it means by that.

Debugging: Repairing code in a program. Many C++ compilers(such as rhide)have a debug function. It tells you if you screwed up the script. For example, using an INT command, but not including any command for finding the int or using the info after. The debugger goes through your script, internally simulating the finished program. When it finds an error, it stops and alerts you.

The mozilla family tend to have javascript debugging as an extra option for installation "for developers only". IE has the option to prompt for debugging on as default, and a lot of pages cause this. Its not an error, and the option to turn it off's in internet options.

My spacebar isn't quite broken, but it's getting there. Rather than being nonfunctional, it's becoming "sticky" -- often resulting in multiple spaces between words, and it can REALLY screw up a game of Worms. :confused:
