I have that game and I would really advise buying the full game cause it is KICK ASS!

Oh and I'm playing the Original Crash Bandicoot on my PSP and I'm probably going to download Crash Team Racing at some point too.

I'm getting it soon. There's so many games i want for my PSP.

Oh and where do you download CTR?

I'm going to get the 1st Rayman and Crash from the playstation store soon too.

super_frea
9 Aug 2008, 12:35
It's on the Playstation Store. I want to get Rayman as well now that you mention it. And I'd quite like to get Wipeout and Medievil. I've got Bishi Bashy Special simply because I wanted something that was similar to Warioware and it's pretty hilarious actually but it's better on 4 player on a PS3.

Oh and Shadowmoon check out Echochrome. I've bought that and it should be arriving tomorrow at some point. But it's a really awesome puzzle game. You can download a Demo for it but it's really short. Search it on Youtube or something.

Eureka! funny, i didn't see the 2 PS1 games running down the side. I must have over-looked it.

Now, i want... Kula World, CTR, Crash Bandicoot, and Rayman, maybe Rainbow Clancy six. And maybe wipe-out, depending on if i like wipeout pulse.

The top PS1 download i want at the moment though is Rayman.

PSP demo's i want are Echochrome (i'll get it on demo first) Chains of Olympus, and Wipeout Pulse.

As i speak i'm downloading Chains of Olympus.

About downloading PS1 games to your PSP.... do they get sent to you, or do you download them but pay for them?

I'd like to know as there is no point if they get sent, because i'm going on holiday for 2 weeks tommorow.

Yeah I've got it now it kicks buttage.

On a different note I've finally bought SSBB. After all this time and I've been playing it like 9 'till 5 two days in a row. My eyes really do ache. But I've managed to complete the Subspace Missionary thing in a day . Even that fat arsed maze level at the end. That took me ages though and I managed to kill the final boss first time round unlocking Sonic woop woop.

My favourite characters are: Link, Snake, Diddy Kong, Wario and Sonic.

Can someone tell me their friend code so I can play them online sometime?
I'll put mine here when I look at what it is again.

Finally.

I'm downloading the original Rayman now, and i'll probably be playing it, completing it, replaying it, replaying it, and replaying it......

Its definitely going to keep me entertained for a while.

I plan to download Crash 1 soon, too. I can remember i was stuck on this level with rolling wheels and piranha plant thingys (the last time i played it was 2003 and i still couldn't get past the level) i hope i can complete that level now. And do you know what the embarassing thing was? it was the second level.

EDIT:

I find it intriguing that Mike Patton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Patton) is doing the voice acting for the protagonist.
He has done so for a few other recent computer games already.

I'd like to know how his voice sounds out of the usual singing/screaming context.

Which makes me wonder: do you have a Nifflas Support Forum account?
(I do, but I couldn't submit any maps yet because all of my maps including the one I am making now (see pics) use excess amounts of tilesets from A Strange Dream which Nifflas doesn't allow people to use online without his permission.)

So anyway, since I can't submit this map on the Nifflas forum, if you are interested in playing it anyway and if you liked the map Gaia and fancy another huge open ended exploration map, PM me and I may be able to send it over to you somehow.

Knytt stories you say? Someone get KRD in here!

I was going to do a Knytt level once. It was going to be Egyptian themed and called "Tomb Invader" (ho ho). I was also going to have a shot at making custom music for it and had even started making my own graphics set. There was going to be these tall pillars that granted and took away the powerups as you moved passed them too! It was going to be awesome!

Then I thought, oh hey, I still need to finish that expansion pack for Ducks. Hmm... I've got that text adventure I'm working on too... well maybe I could ooh pretty butterfly!

Currently 0/3 of the above are finished. I expect this figure to remain for some time.

Hmm, Ducks or Knytt... not an easy choice there. I'd rather see you go with Knytt right now, but chasing butterflies has its advantages as well. :)

I haven't actually done anything concrete regarding any Nifflas games, I just absolutely love them all and think they should be part of primary education throughout the planet. Not Don't Eat the Mushroom, though, that one left me feeling weird for quite a while.

Oh, I'm mostly playing WA again now and the occasional game of Teeworlds if the right people are on. While at the same time looking for a high resolution modification for Planescape: Torment which I've decided to replay the other day.

Well I like C&C3 and Red Alert 3, so explain.Oh right, because Red Alert 2 and CnC original are more awesome and EA likes to release games you have to patch 10 times before the game is playable. They also like to put all those patches together and add some new stuff/story and call it an expansion and then put more money in their belly. Therefor EA is evil, and therefor everything EA creates is EVIL!

Well then look at it this way: We cannot assert that something will happen on the future but in this case it's pretty safe to assume that this game will be playable and in one point in the future Bunsy will be playing this game and since time is an illusion, he is technically playing now(because now depends on the point of view and in this case we're speaking of the point of view of us around the end/start of october or whenever this game is released). Of course things could happen that could affect this result (i.e. Bunsy dies, or the LHC kills everyone, or a meteorite kills everyone, or god smashes the whole of creation with his mighty hand just for the lulz, etc) but all of this scenarios are pretty unlikely. And if they were to happen your least concern would be that Bunsy made an inappropriate post in the past. :p

A console is only as good as its games. And the Wii is hands down the console with the biggest amount of trashware. Only its in-house franchises are saving its ass from total quality disaster. Sure, they've figured out the recipe to economical success the guys at Nintendo but it's just a patch for quick money making whilst the guys at Sony and Xbox are shipping titles with cinematic production values that will make videogame history.

I believe that a console that appeals to a higher number of people isn't really a better console that one that appears to a higher number of gamers.

Of course. Of course they do. But do they have originality? no. The wii is the first console i've ever saw to be so original, i've never heard of a console with motion sensor controls.

Currently it will be "the best" to the world, and thats what i was saying. I was saying it is the best, because its currently the most sold next-gen console so far. It appeals to children, and also family.... the X360 will appeal to grown up gamers. So will the PS3.

Yes, it appeals to idiots that are happy with anything resembling a game, too, and not exclusively, of course. This doesn't make it a good videogame, please note I'm trying to offer and objective view here, based on my knowledge of videogames and experience, I'm not going by sale charts.

And i bet Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo all want to make loads of money. Thats probably the only reason they make them- money. And that shall be the reason you'd make them (if you could) too.

Erm, I'm not sure what you're trying to say here or why you quoted my point about selling crap to say it. Let me use another analogy, The Spice Girls sold millions of copies, that doesn't mean their music is better than Pink Floyd's, it's just that they're more commercial, you have to realize that commercial and quality are two completly different things, specially when discussing objective quality. The PS3 and the Xbox overall have titles of much more quality than the Wii, which has a really low ratio of good to bad games, and, like I said, is only saved by its in-house titles, which in turn, are very good.

And before you ask, I have all three. And yes, I'm enjoying Metal Gear Solid 4 like a little kid, because it's up to standard with my demands. There's nothing in the Wii close to that experience besides Zelda, and I still think MG4 is much better than the newest Link installment.

So, little kids who are about 8 or 7 (not knowing what good games really are) are idiots?

The wii doesn't suck. Its actually the best next-gen console.

The only reason people say it sucks is because of the games.

Best, no it isn't. Most liked, yes it is. The best is the PS3, but it is harder to program for then the other 2 consoles and evidently costs quite a bit more then the other 2 consoles. also Sony haven't really made much profit with there PS3 due to them having to take huge losses to compete in the price wars.

They removed the PS2 stuff from the PS3 eons ago.

Open your computer case, and look on the motherboard, they are located on a white-ish area. Then count them manually. They should be arranged on a grid, if you notice some of them missing(spots on the grid having no megahertz) then a Hax0r probably stole your megahertz.

Yes sorry I meant Mario Kart 64. Personally I enjoy it far more, although I'm not really sure why. I prefer the tracks so maybe that has something to do with it. But I also feel the game as a whole, the controls and everything just feel much tighter. Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Tag Team Racing were both pretty appalling however. The novelty of combining two cars and gunning down the others did last for a short while although that didn't make up for the shoddy controls and boring tracks. But as for Mario Kart Wii, I thought it was rather good. It's really done nothing to further the series but that doesn't stop it being enjoyable. I still prefer CTR though.

CTR is the best, I can agree with you there, the weapons are all what you would expect for a game that involves attacking each other while racing... theres nothing stupid in the game like a banana peel either which is a huge improvement over mario kart. it means you don't get gay weapons when in 1st all the time ;) oh and the lightning attack thing also hits everyone on its way to 1st (when you have full fruit) which is awesome, way better then a retarded bullet bill thing.

Also, in Crash Nitro Kart, they retardified the Bubble shield and made it so you can't shoot it as a weapon... guess how often you get it when in 1st or 2nd?

Well, the lesson I learned was that if they insult you it's because they can and that you should not dare answering back. Not sure if this is what I was supposed to learn, but if you didn't know, the infraction system is pretty generic.

I think that the way it works is that if a mod says something with an offensive tone, calls you names and then you proceed to answer in the same style you get what is known as an "infraction for spamming", whilst if you literally spam the forums with irrelevant information you don't really get much of an infraction.
Not sure if this is working as intended, it's from my own experience.

It wasn't an apple.

Accurately speaking, yeah, it was much more likely a pomegranate or something.
But more accurately speaking, I believe it was nothing and it was all made up. So moot point.

Well, it was the Forbidden Fruit, so it was neither. It's just most commonly represented as an apple.

Dear diary, today I played Super Mario Bros (SUPER FAMICON), I'm stuck in the part were a monster confronts you frontally just after the first question cube, there is nowhere to go and I can't avoid it. Graphics are OK, though, I think Mario 64 is better because graphics are better.

Excuse me? Point out exactly where in my post I made an attack. In fact, I even included a smiley face at the end, as I myself understand all too well how easy it is to misunderstand such matters over the internet. I admit however, that given the language used in the post I am not completely surprised to see it interpreted that way. (http://www.yakuzaisjustbeingatadmoresubtlethistimeyouball ofstringyou.com)

My most sincere apologies if it was seen as an insult, I have nothing but admiration for yakuza's persistence in his crusade to weed out ignorance and stupidity. Most would have given up long ago, but he keeps on truckin', and I think even if we do not always agree with what he has to say, or indeed how he says it, we can admire him for that. :)

(Again, apologies if this is seen as an insult or sarcasm. I simply cannot refrain from using big unnecessary words and speech patterns perhaps not best suited to a medium such as this.)
