That money is roughly £125 (quick conversion in my head, certainly not accurate). As a student, I could get a whole load of Macromedia stuff for £75. So unless he got the full license, he exceeded it.

I got Flash from a friend for free, and $250 = £143.87. I get a load of other stuff as well, like a certificate and a shirt and some DVDs...worth another $250 apparently. So, not bad overall. :p

Newgrounds gets several thousand (probably more like hundreds of thousands, or maybe even millions) hits a day. Where do you think all that money goes? $1250 is easy money to them.
