Name: Alex

Background: Alex was a lemming (yes, not a worm:p ) who was born with brown hair. Due to lemmings nature, he never knew his parents, because nobody ever told him. They just walked to the front, without talking to each other. However, Alex was different. He seemed to be the only one to decide his own route, and soon begun to explore the world on his own. He also had something strange: he had a bit of control over time. He though that he was different, and was some kind of chosen one. The rest of lemmings from his herd, didn't care. He finally left his herd, and happened one of the strangest things: This was the first encouter between these two races: He met a worm named Krazy, who showed him a weapon: The ninja rope. He started to use it, and became a roper. He also started to use other weapons, and started to fight worms.

Personality: Agile, fast, and athletic. Hasn't got many combat skills, but he uses to do unspected attacks. Also friendly, and without fear of making an error (see powers section to know why). When too angry, his eyes become red, and starts a fury state, duplicating his strengh, but not being able to use his powers until it ends. However, it doesn't last for too long.

Powers: He's able to produce this things in short lapses of time (play prince of persia to know what I mean:) ):
-Remembering: He's able to redo something that had done (if it wasn't too long before)
-Slower: He's able to see everything moving slower. For everyone else, he is incredibly fast.
-Stop: He is able to stop the time for him. Everyone else would see him as if he had teleported.

However, he can get very tired or faint when using his powers too much.

Weakness: his fury state, but he can manage to avoid it if he controls himself enough.

Weapon of choice: Ninja rope, shotgun, and dinamite.

Likes: Roping! (yes, a roping lemming :) )

Dislikes: All lemmings who don't decide for themselves.

Appearance: He's a lemming with:
-Brown hair
-two red stripes on each side of the face
-a rope being carried on his shoulder.
-a strange symbol on the palm of his right hand:26427
-his tunic is of this color: 26435.

Others: some other self-deciding lemmings seemed to be appearing...

besides, a siglem would look the same as a sigworm as far as comics go. if you've noticed, people use the sigworms to make characters of other species to represent the same person. take pigbuster, for instance. he drew some sigs as both lizards and humans using the look of the sigworm of that person.

Personality: Normally good tempered, but blows a fuse when his bandana is stolen. Sometimes smiles, but mostly serious.

Background: KennyTornado was born and raised in a small village of Wormness, Scotland. His parents got killed in an Air Strike when he was young, and a worm (who owns the factory Bombs'R'Us just on the outskirts of the village) took care of him ever since, and that's where he developed his skills many years later. He tested out some powerful weapons, until he used a weapon that he loved the most. It's blast radius is so powerful, that he named it 'Da Bomb'. KT asked if he could use this in battles to come; The owner allows him to do so, but if only KT wears something, so the owner looked in his wardrobe and found a white bandana which he used in his old days. So Kenny put the bandana on and thanked the owner for everything, but the owner asked if Kenny would like to take a job as a bomb tester since KT tested out many weapons, and KT was over the moon about being given the job. There is a mystery on how Kenny's purple, but it will remain unknown.

Weapon of choice: 'Da Bomb', of course.

Likes: Bomb testing, Onion Rings and reading Sonic The Comic.

Dislikes: Quite annoying worms, his bandana being stolen and worms underestimating the power of his weapon.

Background: I'll just keep it a bit more simple this time. The year is 2042, and the current location is Wormopolis, the most advanced city you can shake a lightsaber at. Ignatius, or Ignate, is in the Imperial Planet Eater, although isn't planet-sized, but big nevertheless.

Being new to the Empire, he decided to explore the place. After opening some doors and finding a few (tonnes of) junk, Ignate found a rather LARGE door. It seems to be heavily armoured, and armed. Ignate saw the door's label: 'Weapons Vault. You didn't see it'.

After seeing even more piles of junk and some good ones like the 'Lightsider A'sploder', 'Goody-Goody Gooifier' and the 'Liver Peeler', Ignate began to wonder why all of the destructive stuff were kept here. Until, something caught his eye. A flail.

"Oh, this? It's the Volcron Mk.4.2 Flail, or Bludgeon.", uttered BK. "This was made by Rarsonic, "Just for fun." he said. "He doesn't need ANY of the weapons he made, it's just a hobby. So they're kept in this vault, which you didn't see."

Ignate knew he wanted that lovely flail which said "Fun for all ages" on the manual, so he took them. Not much long later he got their creator, Rarsonic to make some safety goggles, which is just for decoration, and they look cool.

After-math: The Planet Eater had engine malfunctions, and crashlanded beside Psyke's treehouse (yes, Psyke has a treehouse :p). And everytime Rarsonic fixes it, Psyke finds a way to break it again.

Personality: Longs for the Planet Eater to be fixed so that he and the Empire can roam and conquer other planets.

Affiliations:Sith.

Likes: Almond chocolate, spicy stuff, the Empire, his LOVELY flail.

Dislikes: Lightsiders, boredom.

Other Empire-related Stuff: the Empire seems to be working on the Planet Decimator[sp?], which is larger and more advanced than it's predeccesor. This is still to be found out.

Socky is planning on a plan to gather the sock puppets in BK's SPF (Sock Puppet Factory) to wage war against the world, still not confirmed.
Darth Darky is suspected to be dead due to his disappearence, or he may have impersonated Snoozy, since Snoozy is active and DD is not. :p

Thinking they might be after the Gem Of Power (the one on the obelisk), Ignate I opened fire on the darksiders. DD, thinking, "WTF?" prepared to attack, but the (more) patient BK advised DD that "This guy could be a formidable addition to the empire". So, Ignate, Darth Darky and BuffaloKid came to an agreement and ignate joined the Empire, but still hangs out with the members of OOTI often.

If you followed Akuryou's advice and didn't attack me, then I would ask you to join. However, as you obviously have no sense of perspective and would be the kinda person who trusts the man holding a gun to your head because he said he'd give you a lollypop, I would probably kill you, perhaps stopping for a cup of tea half way through the fight.

I made a good one in the first place, then decided to change it. Eventually I saw the error of my ways and returned to the original. We can only hope that others will follow suit, as a particularly annoying set of cards said to me repetetively and somewhat persistently until I agreed to laugh at its 'hilarious joke'. Unfortunately when it winked its annoying wink after saying it to signal me to laugh he 'tripped' onto a coveniently placed uno extreme machine which launched him into the stratosphere in groups between the 1 & 8 cards.

It's nothing personal, really... i was refering more to people who create secret agents and worms that manipulate dark matter backpacks that can blow the world apart.

If you want an example of a simple and nice sigworm with a "special power", let's pick Snooze. He has that equipment that allows him to change between dimentions... hell, that gives material to make a LOT or jokes/stories about it. And he didn't give any kind of lame and complicated background on his sig.

I'd like to see some adequate points before I consider changing.you think WE'RE the ones not thinking sensibly? this isn't a forum about random character you happen to create. this is a WORMS message board. this is a place to talk about WORMS. if you're here, you're here for WORMS. when this thread was created, it was made as a place to post descriptions of your sigWORM that would like to have used to represent you in a comic or other such things. when you post an image on this message board, it much pertain to Team17, unless it's just one of a few images you're showing off between your worm art. if you don't do that, it's spam. this fact should be a good indication that this is a message board strictly about Team17, and team17's major success if worms, so, logically, this message board is mostly about worms. if you are posting a description of a character to be used in comics here, then the only way you can SENSIBLY do so would be to post a description of a WORM. posting any other image or description and claiming it as the character with which you wish to be represented here is on par with jumping off a mountain to try to catch a stray leprechaun.

I don't really care of what you use as a sigworm... and i think most people around here don't either...

We'll merely ignore it as long as it's not interesting... just like we do with so many others around, being worms, lemmings or punctuation signs.

So it's up to you to create something that everybody consider interesting. I don't think i need to name examples for the 1 298 978 126th time... so just look around and, in case you're not blind, you'll see plenty of good examples... ;)

I could make almost any character intimidating by modifying their personality or appearance (Unless it was a character whose only trait was to be unintimidating in every way. :p)
As the artist, you can modify characters as you see fit. (Just not TOO much.)

That said, I do have problems with this guy.
1) He has no personality. That's kinda the main point of everything...
2) His pencil/doodle/whatever. How can he use a pencil without any hands? You could be a little more creative. (He draws with his dot would work, I guess.)

Indeed I did. I too, however, thought it would be funny where this goes, so I kept quiet about that again. I was, amongst other things, waiting for someone to spot that.

Pigbuster, he has a personality. If he had no personality he wouldn't be driven to do anything. He was, as I neglected to mention, at one point rather content until the (mentioned) incident of him being turned into a lightbulb. Since then, he got very angry, attacked the ones who turned him into a lightbulb and then got tricked into playing scrabble for ten years by Mr Bod, brother of Mr God (not to be confused with and God you might be thinking of). He then got tremendously bored, ran away (Bod and Jenkins stared at each other, then Bod looked down at his letters, and finally looked up again to see no-one sitting opposite him and a suspiciously Question-Mark shaped something was dissapearing in the distance). He started doodling alot. Bod got angry and attacked Jenkins with magical powers, which hit his Jenkins' pencil. Now I know what your thinking here: 'This is gonna be one of those stupid stories where the impossible is explained away with magic.'. Well, no. The pencil exploded, launching graphite into Jenkins' eyes. They were slightly poisoned, which gives Jenkins that slightly dull look in his eyes. Jenkins, angered once more, through a piece of paper with a self portrait on it at Bod. Bod tried to magically make this dissapear, but as the magic left his fingers the paper hit him. There was a blinding flash. As this cleared, Bod had clearly vanished. Jenkins was amazed to see himself standing in front of him, floating above the ground. The picture of Jenkins had come to life and somehow magically ingested Bod. Bod's powers were now those of the Jenkins picture, now known as Jenkins Doodleplima (or Jenkoff Doodleplimenscoffenhoffenbohoffovic(because he speaks in a Russian accent with a stutter)).
Jenkins the original was still amazed, and he said 'This is amazing! My doodle has come to life!'
To this, Doodleplima replied 'F**k off' and promptly sent out a jolt of energy at the original Jenkins, who then dissapeared to the realm of non-existence (where he was forced into another scrabble game for all eternity).
Meanwhile, Dooleplima was left in reality doing whatever he wanted, which was either to doodle (which is quite simple, in answer to your second point. The arms of Bod appear at his sides on demand) or too erase (using a similar method).
So basically Jenkins personality is slightly ego-centric, quite angry, and slightly childish due to him being created from a doodle.

Not really. Worms don't have skeletons. Removing everything but the skeleton is removing everything, so your description leaves us with wings.

I beg your pardon? If you check the Team17 concept art for Worms 3D you will see that worms do indeed have skeletons.

Bio:
Alex was a treasure hunter (like Indiana Jones or one of those). He once developed an utility: the Anchor Shot (He shots an anchor, like a bazooka, but he's tied to it. so he is send fliying with it).
In one of his searchs, he found a strange orb inside strange ruins. He managed to get to it with the Anchor shot, and when he touched it, the orb seemed to get inside his body... and he collapsed.
When he woke up, he realised that it gave him a strange power... determined by his mood. Some examples:

-When normal: Alex itself - Agile and fast as allways, but like a normal worm. After a bit of having his power, he can control when to transform if the mood is not too strong.
-When serious: Metal Alex - He can become fully of metal. A lot slower, but incredibly strong and resistant. Boredom can help with this transformation, too
-When furious: Dark Alex - Faster and stronger, but lacks defense. He only cares to kill kill KILL. Also, he becomes darker, his eyes become red, his green and black headband turns red and black, even if not being worn, and a dark aura appears around him.
-When euforic: Speedster Alex - The most fast worm: He can wall jump, dash, jump higher and further, and when in battle, he can do "combos" like 12 punches in a row before the enemy realizes. Also, quite like few strenght... His eyes turn white
-When heroic: Angel Alex - Wings grow on his back. now he can fly... but a bit (a bit) slower.

There are more feeling and different transformations... (if someone gives an idea of a new one, I may edit this post with it, if I like it)
Also, different moods can be toghether like serious and heroic... becoming a winged metal worm, which can't fly, but his wings cut. (and slow :p)

Likes: Random stuff, and climbing.

Dislikes: Moskitoes (They can even put him in dark mode, trying to kill them) and cuts (being metal helps not to be scared of them... :p)

Appearence: (Like my last sigworm, but diffrent backpack)
-Green and black headband
-Two red lines on each side of the face
-Those black gloves with the fingers out (like the punk gloves in Worms 4)
-The backpack... (new) it's black... and dunno how to describe it so here comes a crappy drawing

Okay, here's an idea, mostly based off your old sig.

Alex lives in a simple village of Kaledek, the neighbour country of Maakhtar, the hometown of Oft99. But a serious matter has occured, the Empire has landed.

Kaledek and Maakhtar team up against the Empire's finest, DD, BK me (:p),Smap and Rarsonic (Shin has yet to join the Empire). It was a very big war, yes it is. Oft99 and Alex did some heroic thing to sop the Empire etc. (use your imagination what their plan is :p)

Alex and Oft99 have become heroes, in their countries, at least. Soon, they explore the world together, trying to stop the Empire whenever they can.
