Hi. I bought yesterday the battle pack but it doesn`t work. The only new landscape is Warzone, no new weapons either. The new modes for single players appears. When they wanna fix this problem?
I saw on other board people have the same trouble, but there's not a official answer from Team 17 yet.

yes, i've noticed the missing landscapes too. i hope these additional landscapes are included in the PS3 version for real (and not only in the xbox version).

as for the weapons: i managed to activate them in the game customization menu (e.g. "termites", "ferrets", "worship" are all there and working).
afaik "steal" and "invisibility" are only deployable in online multiplayer mode.

Have you checked if the themes, weapons etc have to be unlocked first? If not then maybe t17 should be notified through facebook.

there is no option to unlock the new features. at least not at the in-game "shop".

i sure hope team17 didn't mistakenly upload the xbox description to PSN and the missing features are in fact xbox exclusive only...

Was the first guy correct about there being no new weapons either? If I'm understanding this correctly, nothing gets added with the battle pack except new single player missions and a single landscape?

I have successfully deployed these weapons in local multiplayer:
* worship
* mark for death
* ferrets
* termites

the following weapons are available in the customization menu but not in local multiplayer (i've read somewhere that they are only deployable when playing online multiplayer):
* steal
* invisibility

the weapons don't need to be unlocked. you can use them right away.

Yes, you are right. The weapons works. But the landscapes still missing :(

Here's the official statement by Team17:

Team17 Software Ltd.: "We are looking into what happened here and will be sorting this out as soon as we can."

well thats good news :) has anyone heard if they are working on a patch for w2a? Did it ever get a patch on the xbox360? I am getting very tired of the looping jetpack sound bug which occurs if you skip a replay while a worm is moving around in a jetpack.

first of all it doesn't work! 2nd it should be included in price of Worms2

Ok, I've enough of waiting - most of my games with any code glitches or problems already got the patches (and I'm talking about REALLY complex games, like Red Dead Redemption) and this little patch can't still be released even though more than three months have passed since the DLC release...

Thank you, Team17 - today I officially removed Worms 2 Armageddon from my hard drive promising never to invest any money into the franchise, coming back to old Worm World Party on my PC.

Team17 doesn't seem to read this forum. The only replies to the DLC issues I've ever seen are on facebook:

There, Team 17 stated on January 18, 2011:
"[...] The missing landscapes will be patched as soon as we are able to do so."

At least they confessed that there are problems with the promised landscapes that are missing (before that they just wrote about "problems with the DLC").

As for the "patched as soon as we are able to do so" part of the answer: by now we all know it's never gonna happen. (Team17, please prove me wrong on this!)

"[...] We are sticking to our word and we will be doing an update for all those who bought the Battle Pack on Ps3. Sorry it's taking a long time to sort out."

I sure hope they will keep their word. I mean, we're only waiting like 5 months for the promised patch to be released :rolleyes:
