Last night I finally got one of the (xbox 360) dlc weapons on my ps3. I was playing a custom mode with a friend over the net and I got Invisibility from a crate.
It seems the dlc weapons are only available when you're playing with friends?

I've played many ranked/unranked games and probably around 100 offline games and never seen the dlc weapons until I played online with a friend.

Has anyone found out a way to unlock these weapons for offline use?
If its not possible, why not? I can't think of a good reason other than its a bug that happens in online friend matches that gives us access to weapons that are supposed to be released later through dlc. :(

Ive already ask confirmation of this with team17 staff, but as usual they are not replying. I have yet to see ANY new weapon from the XBL battle pack on ANY game mode, ONLINE or OFFLINE. This game is broken and nothing is being done, Team17 how lazy can you be? You have been making the same game for 15 years you should be experts.

It sounds like there is a bug whereby you are getting DLC occasionally for free. Congrats. This will go into the list of issues that will be addressed.


PS. "Invisibility" wouldnt work offline... Everyone in the room would see where you were on the map.

You dont play offline! I get all the weapons when playing private carzy crates online!!
