Sony plans to use the Ad-Hoc Modes of the games use as Online mode with a PS3 system.
If it were possible to use a PC instead of a PS3 that would be great.

There's very little connection between the two things you've mentioned here. What Sony are or are not planning to do with the wireless connectivity between the two systems has bugger-all to do with Ad-Hoc tunnelling, which is what you're suggesting.

And there are already ways of doing Ad-Hoc tunnelling with a PC or Mac.

Sony has allowed some Japanese PSP games that only supported Ad-Hoc to play online using PS3 as the tunnel. If they support all ad-hoc games on all PS3 systems at some point then that would be great but it hasn't happened yet. If you already have a PS3 then you should just play Worms PSN. It doesn't have all the features of WOW2 but it has a lot more players.

You can already play WOW1 and WOW2 PSP online using a PC/router tunnel and the xlink kai software (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/) but it's a hassle and good luck finding opponents.

on the psp version, they should change the ad hoc to infrastructure... cause im sure that all the WOW2 fans for psp would love the online mode to come back. A refreshed leaderboard would make it all fair so there are no cheaters, and a quitters leaderboard to see who not to play.
