View Full Version : Speech samples haven't been used properly since Worms 3D

This has been picking away at me for six years... Team17 appear to have forgotten how the speech banks in Worms games are supposed to work. Worms PS3 is a good example of this, with samples being used in the wrong places at the wrong times.

For instance: OhDear.wav and ByeBye.wav, which should be used when a worm is about to remove itself from play after losing all its HP, is instead played in Worms PS3 at the moment the worms' health is 0. Another example is Nooo.wav, which should be played with a worm flies out of the field of vision of the screen. In Worms PS3, its use is inconsistent - drownings, death, etc.

It's a small niggle, to be sure, but nevertheless it's one that's irritated me for quite some time now.
