Haven't read every thread so it's possible that people have already arrived at this conclusion, but i've tried to replicate the conditions that cause my Playstation 3 to freeze whilst playing this game, and it ONLY ever happens to me when searching for "Any" in the "Game Type" field.

I was able to play with friends by having them create a game with one of the predefined game types such as Full Wormage / Beginner / Intermediate etc.

As soon as I try to search with "Any" in the game type field, the PS3 freezes. Same happens to all my friends.

Does it always happen to you when you search 'Any', or only sometimes? And if the latter, how often would you say it happens?

in my case, it always happened when I was trying to join my friends game, and practically never when none of my friends were online playing worms. I've never been able to play with a friend because of that, but maybe it was because I searched for his game with "any"

For me it freezes 4 out of 10 times i try to search and i only use the "any" search for game. I can usually get in the lobby 2 or 3 times before it starts freezing or on a bad day it freezes on the first search. I cut the ps3 power off, the on, and try again but on the 3´rd freeze i give up and just wait till the next day to play my worms... Wow thats sad...
