i am stuck on the boss of the desert, how do you do it?

What is so hard in that mission?

The hard part is getting to the boss. You have to use your utilities (girder and blowtorch) very sparingly. I passed it without even using the magnet.

I'll record a video tutorial for the PSP version at some point in time. From memory, the DS version of this level is slightly easier.

tough one, that. I found the hardest part was getting to the very pinnacle. Getting as far as the last crate wasn't too hard.

The problem is the way the guy chucks rockets around will damage any girders you place to climb up to him.

In the end I kept to his right-hand side until I was ready to charge, and I built girders up to him on his left. That way the rockets were kept away from my construction.

I panicked so much because as I got to him I had one second left so I just hit 'fire' and ended up killing him with the blowtorch :)

You are a little bit at the mercy of wind direction on this one.
