I, like the rest of you have been getting a little annoyed with disconnects. Not really the ones in the middle of the game, more the ones right at the end before the opponent winds up dead.

We can post the names of those who disconnect (just before they die) here to keep track of who does it. This way if you see a name that appears on this list here you can know ahead of time what to expect.

yeah i'll only block someone if the network fails straight after they mess up a piece of play or right at the end when i'm about to win.

My thoughts are that someone gets block if the Network fails when I am just about to win. Most times you play a 45 min game with no connection issues and just before a winner is declared.......disconnect. That is the type that we are looking for. Red Scare aside, I think you know what I mean.

Anyone can impersonate anyone on the DS version, you can change your name without losing ranking and there's no block list. I noticed that there are multiple LineWalkers on the leaderboards with different rankings.

How do you know that?

Of course, if I had the top ranking overall I might be tempted on restarting from scratch, as playing with my old settings would risk losing that lofty position. ;)

I'm bumping this topic, like I did another, since my name keeps popping up in DC discussions...

I haven't actually played this game in a few months, so if anyone has had a LineWalker disconnect on them, it wasn't me. I've only got 21 disconnects in total, and most of them are from other people disconnecting on me, the others were network problems on my side. I logged on the boards for the first time in a while, and thought there'd be a whole different top 10, and that LineWalker would be a distant memory. Turns out, everyone thinks I'm some DCer that only cares about rank!

I might start playing again sometime, but for now, I'm staying offline in an attempt to clear my name. The scores for the top 10 should be shown in the chatroom, and mine hasn't changed in a long time, and shouldn't until I come back. If I was DCing on people, it should be changing at least some, so next time a LineWalker disconnects, check the scores, you'll know it's not me.

In summary:

It's true, that sonic dude (the one who's number one on the disconnects list), changed his nick to Linewalker a few days ago. You could check that out by simply going to the leaderboards. Now he changed it back to sonic.

Add BioKiller to the list, he frequently disconnects on the last game.

When he hosts a game, he gives the other teams only 1 worm and tries to start the game this way. If you don't get fooled, the game starts 4vs4 but he plays so badly (I think he didn't pass the first solo mission!) that he looses really fast and quits...
I think you want to play at least 1 game against him before blocking him, because it was really fun! Maybe you can even win 1vs4.... :)

I had the same problem whit my friendslist. This is how i corrected it.
I had friend in my clan so i kicked them out and after that i had acces to the friendslist and made a clean up. Hope it will help.

I started losing every one of them (a lot of BAD luck) and then I recovered... and when things turned nasty for my oponent... they disconected... =s so frustrating... about 3 times in a row...

So i edited a chat slot and wrote: "Please! Dont disconect H ONOR!"

... and post it after a "Good Luck!" message in every match...

seems to work, just now i won about 4 matches in a row , and didnt got a single disconect.

maybe its easier to list those who don't quit and then make a network or reliable players :)))...

i think there is a way. if the message this session is no lonnger avalable" comes up straight away, there is a quiter.

but is the "waiting for other players message comes up then the"this session is no lonnger avalable" after a while it is a conection failure.

Because it is one of the default pictures, and therefore very common. The only way to ensure that you have a unique avatar is to make one yourself, or get someone else to do it.

i have a lot of quitters. My block list has about 100 players in it. i may be high in the ranks right now (rank 33 permanent) but i bet quitters will look at my points and say, " i will quit so he loses points". If they do that, they will be in my block list AS FAST AS LIGHT.

yeah, i do win a lot. But iCarbonX is a good player. He does not quit if he loses, and he has got a fair rank above yelia2236 (a friend of mine).

I don´t understand him, he was long time on my buddylist and today he spammed on the chat that matrona2 has his password.

Then he quitted 2 times in a row after he looses.

Change your router's encryption type to WEP (you will also have to change this on all PCs and other devices that connect in your house).
