Alright, I don't want to beat the whole disconnecting topic to death, but does anyone know the actual effects of a disconnect from a match?

Getting straight to the point... I want to know, if someone disconnects from a match (I see the message that says a player has left) and I disconnect (turn off my power) before the "sending results to server" prompt... do either of us lose rank?

i think the real issue is that...although worms is a great game, we all lose by caring so much about it. myself included. =)

Rank is definitely not everything, but people need something to work towards. As soon as you add ranks / stats / other tracking devices, people want to achieve. Any game I play, if they offer some sort of "ranked" play, I utilize it.

Its fun to try to get into the top 10 or 5. Frusturating though when you actually start to play online and everyone quits. If you want a fair game hit me up if you see me. JOELtheJOEL on psp.
