so me and rampaging elk, aka super elk, have been trying to join the same game many times over the course of a few hours here tonight. i've played in games with people, he's played in games with the same people. but we cant manage to ever join the same game together, whether it be 4, 3 or 2 players...friends...random...ranked. nothing.

unless there's some magic tricks we aren't aware of, it seems he and i will never be able to play a game together on the DS version of this game. anyone else have something like this happen?

either of you could have your ISP doing IP filtering etc. and either you or fhim falls into this filter.

What wi-fi hardware are you using? Perhaps it is having trouble opening the ports (some routers aren't compatible with the UDP hole punching technique that the DS uses). You may have to open ports manually or get a better router.

i have a zoom adsl x6 modem (its wireless router and dry loop dsl modem in one, basically).

havent had any other connection issues. i routed some tcp/ip and udp ports open earlier in the week to permit worms armageddon connections. which ports should i try to open for this game?
