Since the DS lacks any sort of way to chat with players or see how many are online (and I hate IRC), I've been looking for a website with a live chat. I found one but currently the population is rather low, low population = long waits till you find someone and a very low chance of ever playing that elusive 4 player match.

The chat used to suck when it was just a simple ajax script but now it's flash based and seems to work pretty well. I think Pok meant to say the new chat is significantly better than my old chat, not better than me :)

Yes, please sticky. I managed to catch Ghost online last night and we had some great games because of it. Please sticky, it would be nice to have more activity in it.

this chat room seems to have gone down.

The server hosting the site was upgraded and was down during that time. It's working now.

nintendo should of soooo made pictochat wi-fi (but only with friends of course). that would be sooo cool. even though nintendo is awsome, theres alot of ideas i can think of that would make their stuff cooler

If i had to make a suggestion for the chat site.
Having a clock on the site to work by would make arranging matches a lot easier.

Rather then trying to covert times to and from GMT/EST/PST/Localtime

Other then that, great page.

Do have to toss out one suggestion for those using the chatroom: If you're really up to a game, please be sure to sign in and let the window stay open for a few minutes. I keep getting this feeling that people troll the site, and if they don't see others actively chatting or logged in they continue their browsing. I have certainly been guilty of this, though there's been a decent amount of traffic in the last couple days, and much mutiplayer mayhem made.
