Boy, do I have a story for you guys...
So I was tired of going to Best Buy looking for the game, because they NEVER had it, so I went to a local store. I scanned the DS section for like 20 mins, and no sign of the box at all. Then I see it: Phantom Hourglass. I had TOTALLY FORGOTTEN the game came out on October 1st. So, with my hopes down, I go and place PH's box in the counter.

Right next to the cashier is the PSP section. I see a fresh copy of the game. I grab it and say "Have you got this, but for DS?"
He says "Uh... I think 2 of 'em came in in yesterday's shipment. Let me check."

Luckily, I had brought TONS of change at the store, so while I was counting coin by coin, they looked all over the place. Finally, they came out from the back of the store with it. "Sorry, we forgot to put it on display".

So I was standing there with a hard decision: Phantom Hourglass or Worms?
I realized I had waited a month for Worms, and that I could just go buy Phantom Hourglass later, seeing best buy had a rack full of 'em. So I finish my coin mountain, and I take the game. It is awesome. I guess Phantom Hourglass can wait a month :p

I've had tons of fun with the landscape editor. Great job, Team17 and Two Tribes. Thank you so much for this game. :)

I also had to ask for the game since it wasn't put on the shelves yet. Some games never even get a chance to sell and will forever be hidden away somewhere.

dudes i assume you are form the USA? Anyway i pretty much just always buy from play.com now, its FREE delievery and the prices is always cheaper than shopes (stores). You can pre-order no problems and delievery is fast. There must be a US equivalent of play.com unless you guys have this as well. (and assuming bestbuy isn't an online store as well).

whoops i meant shops not shopes, i aint that posh.

I'm in Australia and if I ordered online I wouldn't have been able to get it as quickly. I also wouldn't have been able to trade a game for it. I had a free copy of Shrek the 3rd (XBOX 360 version) and I had no intention of playing it, so I swapped it and a few dollars for the DS version of WOW2. Great deal in my opinion, I doubt they have sold that Shrek game yet, no one on ebay wanted it.

with play.com 9 times out of 10 you get the game on release day or even a day before release day which is awesome. I think you might be able to sell on this site as well now. I see you are in vice city i don' remember that city when i travelled up the east coast of australia.

Best Buy is a US/Canadian store. The closest equivilent in the UK would probably be Currys. There is an American Play - PlayUSA.com - but they only sell DVDs. Most online game stores in the UK won't ship abroad, which is probably for the best considering games cost twice as much in the UK (WOW2 costs $30, which is approximately £15, so I bought both versions for the price you paid for one).
