deathmatch with no weapons. come on. this is the most boring game ever. please at least have more weapon drops in this or something...i'm guessing since it's DS there's not much to be done about it. then again, settings seem to be determined server-side.

I like it better than the Full Wormage scheme but I agree that neither should be in ranked play. It's a shopper scheme but for some reason they set it so crates don't fall every turn, they only fall on occasion. Save those blowtorches for fatalities only and stop your opponent from getting the crate with girders.

Ugh, a shopper where crates don't fall every turn? That isn't a shopper. Whole point of a shopper is to pick up the crate before you mount your attack.

Nobody likes this scheme, and there are a dozen or more topics about it already. Fortunately, the only people who choose it in random play are those who haven't tried it and think it'll be like in Armageddon. The Full Wormage is another story. Lots of people choose that one, but they're all n00bs, in desperate need of being ***ed as quickly and as often as possible. I try to do my part. :)

ya im not a huge fan of donkeys and banana bombs in my ranked deathmatches either. thats why i mostly play forts. the no-weapon scheme has turned up there as well, however.

i'm pretty good at playing dark when i have to, with torches and girders. but seriously, when the last 25 turns see only health drop... the game i played last night (ranked....is all i play) with Jeff, we ended up finding high spots and just counting down the timer cause no more crates came. just waited till the other drown during sudden death.

that was the least exciting hour and a half of gaming i have ever experienced.

And this is the problem. :)

I was told about random when the game first came out, but it sounded lame, even if you have some control over the scheme. I wanted a rank! But then I tried random once on a whim, and I haven't gone back. :)

Yes I know but Two Tribes named the scheme shopper for some reason. It includes infinite rope, some girders and some blowtorches. The landscape is destructible.
