It seems that whenever I host I ALWAYS go second. Is it based on team colour of what?

the first round is random. the second round is whoever hasnt been first yet. (in a 1 vs 1 game)

i think, everyone who says it is random is playing the game on ds. psp might actually have some method to select who goes first. do you always host your games? maybe host goes last, or something like that.
