I personally prefer it's single-player in many ways. Makes you focus on more skillful play, not having the temptation to load up on super-weapons. heh.

The AI is like magic too.. they had to dumb it down for WOW2 because it was usually dead-on in WOW all the time.

i've seen screenshots and the landscapes and themes look very good coupled with great AI it would make for good single player gaming not sure if it has puzzles, camaigns editor etc.

The only reason to get WOW1 DS would be to laugh at the bugs and the really stupid AI, it does nothing the majority of the time or it kills itself.

In my opinion, the only reason to get WOW1 PSP would be to play the 20 Deathmatch missions against the AI. The AI in WOW1 PSP thinks for 15 seconds before every single move, so you need some patience.

There is a reason to get Worms XBLA (XBOX 360), it has improved versions of those 20 WOW1 deathmatches, the AI only takes a second to think and it has leaderboards, so you can try to beat peoples times on those deathmatches. There's also the online multiplayer and voice chat.

Mulitplayer Ad-hoc mode in WOW1 is actually in sync most of time and as such is much more enjoyable to play.

I can't think of any reason, it's a terrible game. (no offence to team17)
