grr this is really frustrating me...

whenever i get near him he grenades me before i can place my magnet :/

anyone got any helpful tactics?

I didn't even use the magnet. I blow torched under him and then placed a girder beside him so I could get up and fire punch him. As long as you then hide directly under him in your blow torched tunnel he will just skip his go.

if i'm not mistaken, this is that general worm that's on top of the huge map that goes basically straight up?

this was a hard one indeed. but i actually just did the same thing, blow torched my way up, but i placed my girder beside him and just hid in the nook below the final assent, he won't leave the top, just take pot shots from where he is. the far right is safe too, if you have a tunnel and can hide beside some large rocks (map).

at last! finished it, i slowly made my way to the cove just below him, then firepunched and caught him:P

and after a few more extremely irritating losses, i have finished all the campaigns:) well, except the bonus ones
