I'm glad that the buffalo of lies is finally in the game and I've decided that there should be a thread asking what weapon is better.

personally I love the buffalo a lot because:


it's new
it can harm a lot of worms
it can be used to dig bigger holes
great for lining up worms and just watching the mayhem


so what do you guys think about the weapons?

Well, though I think the BoL is every bit as cheap (and fun) as the Donkey, it does actually require some skill (albeit almost none). Whereas with the Donkey all you have to do is drop it and watch it mow down everything in its path, the Buffalo requires you to make sure you have a good path, ala the Sheep, lest it go off track.

They're both fun, though. Cheap as hell, but great for a good laugh. :p

I prefer the Donkey in terms of sheer usefulness, but if this thread were Mad Cow vs. Buffalo, Buffalo would win easily.

Well I haven't played worems since armagedon, so i don't remember any donkeys. I think the donkey is a bit harsh, but the buffalo is ok.

However for stupid, but fun and effective weapons i like; the old woman, the sheep and flying sheep. Oh and there was a heard of mad cows once wasn't there.

Have team17 considered some sort of pig weapon?

I thought the whole point of the mad cow was that it's a herd. But that's why I prefer the buffalo - it's easier to flee after you've released it.

As for the Super Sheep, yeah, I hated it at first, but it's an awesome pinch weapon, and the control of it is damn good on the DS version of W:OW2. It felt so awesome to blow up an opponent's island sanctuary with it when I was two screens and a long, narrow overhang away.

i like the donkey but i really liked the armageddon move i think that was worms world party great if you are nearly dead and theres alot of other enemies still about :)

I liked Armageddon because it was fun to try and make a custom level where some worms would survive 2X Damage Armageddon. :)

I find the Donkey really annoying, the Buffalo is awesome though. Much better than the Mad Cow, which was utterly useless in my opinion.

i like the buffalo better now because you can use it in way more landscapes

I'd have to go with the donkey. My problem with the buffalo is that each hit/explosion the buffalo makes causes rather low health damage.
