Having just listened to the latest [Radio Ninty podcast (http://www.radio-ninty.co.uk/podcasts/radioninty10.mp3)] the TwoTribes chaps have pretty much confirmed something I had suspected since I saw the first videos for the DS version, that being that the game is based largely on the Worms 2 game engine (used for W2, WA and WWP).I seem to recall hearing at some point that the Ngage version you chaps developed (which is superb, incidentally) was in fact a port of the PSone version of WWP, and I was wondering which end version of the W2 engine you ended up using as the basis - the Ngage version, the PSone version, or the PC version?

(For reference, the PSP version is based on the engine used in the first Worms Open Warfare on the PSP, which was written from the ground up with only a few elements from the W2 engine (specifically the rope script) incorporated. This means that the DS version is technically speaking the closest thing to a handheld WA we're going to see).

I'm not sure they'll answer you, they answered my questions...

But (on a side note) WA was my last worms purchase, and I still play it today... :D

Hey Enigma. I'd ask if you're up for a game, but I've managed to run the battery down on my DS. It's the second time since I bought the game, incidentally... and the second time since I moved to LA at the end of June. Bloody good game, this.

ahh, that's OK. I probably would have run mine down three times by now, but I have been charging it up every other night so that doesn't happen...

Very good game indeed!
