I really didn't want to make a thread about this, but I guess nobody noticed my question in other threads, so I'll ask it separately. Apologies in advance.

Which online modes can you get medals from?

I played a random match a few days ago and got a medal for Outstanding bravery for making a comeback.

Oh good. That's great news. I guess I didn't get an Annihilation medal because I lost a round then, even though I destroyed the other player in the two rounds I won.

My question is still open though; can you get all medals from all online modes? Also, I just thought of something else. What are the exact criteria for each medal where it's not specifically stated (Annihilation and Outstanding Bravery)? Also, for Berserker, does killing a few of your own worms count? What about knocking a line of worms into the water?

It's been almost two weeks on this one, and I still want to know the approximate criteria for Annihilation and what counts as a kill for Berserker, so I guess I'll bump this.

Incidentally, I got Winning Streak today. I thought that was gonna be the hardest one to get, but I still need Annihilation, Berserker, and Field Marshall. You'd think Field Marshall would be a lot easier to get than Winning Streak. I guess this just means I've improved very quickly (I've honestly been playing more custom games than online games).

Yeah, I've figured that part out too. :) I got my Winning Streak medal from random matches. Now I just want to know about Annihilation and Berserker.

And I realize that probably only the devs and other Team17/Two Tribes employees know EXACTLY what counts for Berserker and Annihilation, but if they can't chime in, could some of y'all who got the medals at least describe basically how the games went when you got them?

Edit: Okay, I'll start! I just got Annihilation! I was playing some guy named "parkdongjh" (I assume by his user name that he's Korean), and he stopped playing for some reason in the second round. I killed all his worms and only took 6 points of collateral damage among all my worms (one point from being a wee bit too close to an explosion, and the last five were from his last exploding worm - there were a bunch of barrels all around, so I didn't want to risk exploding weapons, and I killed him with a dragon ball, but didn't have enough time to get away completely).

Edit #2: Slightly off topic, but I just got Field Marshall. Now I only need Berserker, but that's gonna take a heck of a lot of 4-player games, and I haven't managed even one four-player game yet.

If you have MSN, I wouldn't mind playing a game with you. Also, lots of other people have their own ways of getting more than 2 people in a game, AIM, IRC. Try and arrange one on the forums!

I'm missing Annhilation and Beserker myself.

I have MSN, but I haven't used it in ages. And yeah, I joined into an ATTEMPT to start a four-player game on GameFAQs. It eventually became an attempt to start a three-player game, and even that failed. We first all tried searching for a random match, then we added each other as friends and tried to start a three-player game that way, but we waited a good ten minutes on that one with no luck. Strangely, trying to start two-player games with the same people worked like a charm.

Have you actually been in a three or four player game before?

Yeah, me, Matt and Elamre have played games with each other, arranged over MSN. Also played a few other people via MSN, Stephen and Cyclaws, can't remember if they were 3 players.

Before I got this game, I had stopped using MSN as well, but installed it after people started giving their adresses in the friend code thread. Feel free to add me if you ever use it again!

i got my annihilation when i killed all of the opponents worms in a match with mine all still alive, but not full health

so if i understand correctly, i can get winning streak etc. on single player?

No, you can only get the online medals (the bottom row of medals) by playing online matches.

Oh no, post from someone at Two Tribes, but still no answer? :(

So does Berserker include your own worms or not?

And does pushing a line of guys into the water count?

And is Annihilation killing the opponent without losing a round and having one round where all your worms are alive?

What about Outstanding Bravery? I have no idea what exactly that might be judged on.

Outstanding Bravery was the first online one I got. From its description I reckon it happens when you win the game with one worm left for so many turns.

Also, if while playing you look at the statistics in the options, you can see how much total health each team has. This could be the criteria needed for these medals. So for the Bravery one, you may need to win while having less then 100 points of health on your team, for so many turns? For Annhilation, it may be winning the game with over 350 points of health and all four worms standing. Just a guess!

As far as beserker goes, I don't think your own worms count, if you get a three wroms kill, but one was your own, it is scored as a two worms kill; "Jammy uses the old one two". 8 worms in a game is quite the beserker though!

Killing your own worms would indeed be the very definition of berserk though, no? :P

And besides, it seems almost impossible to get otherwise. Even in four-player matches, a LOT of luck would seem to be involved.

can you berserker in a custom map?

e.g if i got my mates to help me get the medal by making a map in which they could be killed on the first go?

of course, the favour would be returned:P

AFTER you got the medal, right? A long, long time after.... :D

Some people like a challenge, and this seems like a good 'un! We'll have to arrange some 4 way games and really think: "How am I going to kill everything in the map with this shot?"...

lol you got it:P

yeah i think some of us should form a clan and fight between ourselves, knowing we wont quit

e.g i have loads of clan requests a day sometimes from people i havent played, who obviously have no experience whatsoever, then they make me admin of the clan, and when i play them they quit as soon as i win one round :/

anyway, ranting over:P
