I only know one of them, Fariswheel, and he was complaining for ages that the game had a quit function.

i dont know why ppl think why the DS version is better just that one had better graphics and hats and the other touchscren and better map aditor and flag editor

Ah, now I see. I hadn't seen this post before I responded to your comments and criticism in the DS thread.

Firstly - hats. Hats aren't important. I don't see why people have placed so much value and stock on a gameplay feature that lets you change what your worms' head happens to look like. It's silly, really. People are complaining that the DS version doesn't have hats, and that the PSP version doesn't have enough hats. Clearly hats are a sellign point in modern videogames. It's a wonder the Hitman games sell as well as they do - Agent 47 doesn't even have any hair, let alone any form of headwear.

Secondly - graphics. The PSP's capable of putting out smoother graphics with a higher colour count, sure. But the graphics don't necessarily make the game better, do they? Worms: The Directors Cut has inferior graphics to Worms 2, but it's still the better game. Worms 3D doesn't look anywhere near as nice as WOrms 4: Mayhem but it has a better Single Player campaign (W4M wins for multiplayer).

I'm not playign the Fanboy card here, and I'm not trying to start an argument. I just find it a little odd that even though poninja has agreed that the DS has a betetr feature set, he's chosen the PSP as his preferred version because the graphics are antialiased and his worms heads are kept warm. Bizarre.

I gave it a six. Single player, it's an 8 or 9, but the online mode, which I've been dying for ever since WoW, is extremely poorly done, and enough of a detriment to cause me to lower my score..

Of course, had there been some EASY way to recover a password for wormnet, I might not be so bitter.

Yeah, on the hats thing. Even if there were customizable hats, I personally wouldn't use them. Besides, there ARE hats in the DS version. Try placing a girder somewhere to see what I mean. :P

There is an easy way. Write it down and put it in a safe place that's easy to remember. :)

I don't think they're fanboys because this isn't about PSP v.s DS it's about worms.

but I agree that fanboys are usually a little stupid, not all but most fanboys.

sh#t its a damn GOOD game !!!!!!!! but i did buy it if i remmeber correctky for the online, but i must utilise the one player more, thanks for the reminder!
