The lack of a zoom feature on the game screen makes Forts totally unplayable, as both camps are so far away from each other that aiming anything becomes completely luck-based. That's a shame, because Forts is mighty fun.

My wife and I played a forts game last night, and within 3 minutes, we just quit out and started a regular game. It was, as I said, nigh unplayable.

It would have been cool to at least show your crosshair on the upper mini-map.

ah shame the psp version has lots a zoom, so thats one point for the psp then! Woot :cool:

I bet with practice you could get the hang of long shots based on the minimap, but to be honest I never much liked fort games anyway, for mostly the same reasons (if someone isn't polite enough to stand near the front of their fort, there's really nothing reliable you can do to them).

You should stick with it, we've mastered playing forts game on DS :)

Actually, using the minimap really is effective... I've been using it on the missions and have been landing some pretty accurate shots... Plus if your last worms game was Worms Armageddon (PS1), then you're already used to not having a soom... :rolleyes:

That's pretty normal for Kel.

Not sure if it's because I chose the wrong scheme, but forts has been disappointing for me, because I never get the Mortar weapon. It was the ideal fort weapon for the (B'n'G) underskilled. No power settings, just choose the angle and fire. With mortar, games take so long..

the fort mode is fun. I finally got the game and fort mode is awsome! if you're having trouble looking around then hold the L & R buttons while moving and you should be able to look around the landscape. I hit three perfect (but lucky) shots at my sister without doing anything special. The best weapon for forts is the bazooka.
