i was playing online psp version against a player called ,Darkworm, on beginner scheme and his own level design when one of my worms and one of were against a cliff he lobbed a banana bomb sending us both into the water, but then the screen said “waiting for other players” for about 20 seconds and when the game came back me and him were back but strangely he‘d planted a sentry gun whithout it showing.
we and it just appeared after being killed just after his character kept pausing and then going very fast to compensate.

anyone‘s opinions?

It's not hacking. It's quite clearly a communication error.

Not hacking at all. The speed-up and slow down is due to bad network conditions. Also, he did place a sentry gun, but your copy got it wrong somehow and the entire game was resynched by the network (the twenty second delay).
