The PSP version requires you to password protect your profile. The first time, you can pick any password you like.

There's no solid information to go on, so all I can do is guess.

Is UDP and TCP traffic on allowed ports 3074 and 3075?

Is UDP traffic allowed on ports 3076 to 3174 inclusive?

Does turning UPnP off on the router make a difference?

it might be your WEP or WAP encryption security?

If he can browse the web, it won't be the encryption settings (can associate with the access point).

Maybe its something to do with connection settings, IP adress, DNS, subnet mask or gateway.

I tried to open all ports, but that doesn't work.
