It's sounds really good, but IGN are usually very optimistic about reviewed games, indictative by the large score differences with another similar reviewer, Gamespot. I usually tally up an average from both to get a rough accurate score.

Somebody posted here a reaction to the campaigns saying they were too short and unchallenging. IGN stated the single player campaign was "Very Deep"

Seems the 2nd one is a vast improvement over the original. :)

Can't wait to not only pick up this game but battle friends online.

Awesome. It's certainly what we all want to hear. Well, except for this:
The backgrounds melt 2D and 3D elements for an impressive effect
I think he meant "meld."

I assume you mean that they are optimistic about previewed games. You can't be optimistic about something that has already happened.

Radio ninty did a review on W:OW2 for DS (http://www.radio-ninty.co.uk/podcast.htm), skip to 21:30 for the review.
They gave it 5 out of 5 stars (or 127% if they were to use percentages ;) ), and placed it in the top 5 DS games :D

Okay Luther, a gramatically wrong sentence. I think you know what I mean though (as you've corrected me :D). Before they review any game, they have a "Glass Half Full" mentality.

I think IGN scored it perfectly, now I've played the game. I wanted to see it get a 9.0, but then I realised that the game wasn't perfect (the reviewer mentioned the Single Cart Sync issue), there is still a lot of scope for improvements, but as a game its solid. So much to do. Some of the puzzles are ingenious. Its a fantastic game, and Two Tribes are the king of handheld ports.

I like this phrase on their website;
"Two Tribes has produced its second Nintendo DS title, which also happens to be its second Worms title, which is the second Worms title for Nintendo DS but the first Worms title from Two Tribes for Nintendo DS."

COnfused me a bit, hand to re-read it a few times to understand it. Imagine if Two Tribes had made both WOW1 + WOW2. It would have been amazing. I hope many more are made.
