In fairness, I would have thought that Nintendo, who do after all have to check all games before release, would have got the date right before they started making adverts. I don't think you can be criticised for believing them.

Unless, of course, you have conflicting information from a more authoritative source, like the publishers or someone...

The ads were on nintendo.com, its not nintendo saying these dates, they are ads. Ads are usually from the company who makes the game. Please don't point me to the forum that the mod says august 31st on both sides of the pond. Games in the US are shipped on mondays and out on tuesdays, thats just the way it is.

Best buy was the only place that had any information. I got the game now and it was from best buy, it's a great game, the best 2D worms ever in my opinion.
