it still amazes me that Team17 has remained independent for so many years while other BritSoft developers like the Bitmap Brothers, Sensible Software and so on have either collapsed or been eaten.

I don't really watch tv, I usually just set my DVB-T tuner to record stuff of interest. Any idea what channel or times of day the ads will be on?

What have we been saying for the last month about release dates? The only official release dates are those from Team17 and THQ.

And, as the creative director of T17 has posted in this very thread announcing a release date, we can take that to be official and disregard all other sources. Including ones that can be edited at will.

does this date apply to Canada too? becuase i just went to my local EB games and they said they hadn't got a date yet? which is kinda weird as theres only 11 days left ( excluding today) until its realseaed. so is Canada mabye getting a diffrent date?

I loved all the non-3D Worms games and own them all, for the pc. Any chance of a WoW 2 ever porting to the pc? Or possibly the Xbox 360?

Best thing for you to do is to call your local stores, and see if they know when the shipment is coming in. I know that the best buy around here has some arriving on Tuesday. While Gamestop/EBgames are getting them Wednesday or Thursday.

...So yeah, just call around and gather as much info as you can, to make the best decision. Or say screw it and buy it online, and pay a jacked up price to have it sent to you ASAP. :p

ebgames has the ship date as being september 4th, by ship date I hope they mean 'in stock date' lol. O ri will harass them until they gimmie, gimmie.

I'm addled about that US release date. Usually, the date they show is the day before they dispense the game. The thing is that Sep. 4th(the release date) is a Tuesday, and often they show Monday's date. Tuesday is generally the standard video game release date. I guess it's only a 24-hour-longer duration.
