I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the games will contain unlockable rewards a la Worms Armageddon? As an older worms player, I really enjoyed this, and missed it when Worms World Party came out.

Yup. The single player mode awards credits for completing missions, these can be used to purchase items from the shop, such as weapons, victory dances, animated health bars etc etc.
