I thought I knew how to solve it but things don't work out as planned. I make the first guy a climber and make him gram the umbrella. He floats down and then he climbs the door and grabs the miner while I make him dig straight down so that he saves himself. Having acquired the miner I get the four lemmings still trapped at the start to dig diagonally down. Everything is perfect in that I have 2 stairs and 1 digger (horizontal digging). But I can never get up to the platform that has the end door since the stairs don't seem to connect whatsoever. Someone please help - it's driving me crazy. I've looked all over the net for a solution.

This is the ps3 downloadable game version and the stage is called "A thing called lem." It is under the "Tricky" levels.

Here is how you do it. After you get the umbrella float down and climb to get the miner. Continue walking for a little bit and dig so when you fall you will not be sucked into the door. Make sure you are digging in the doorway frame though. After the fall, the lemming will keep walking left and climb the left side of the door frame. If you timed your dig correctly there will be a ledge and he cannot climb out. In turn you will fall and walk towards the door. Before you get sucked in the door use the miner and make a shaft to the outside. Continue walking and build stairs to ease the fall of the other lemmings. Use the basher for the other lemmings and they will walk into the door. This took me a while too but once you do it, it's easy
