There are already ranks at First Blood (http://www.laene.nl/fb/) and ways to change your rank on wormnet to reflect your First Blood rank.

Yes, official rankings are in the works though.

How can I get rankings and how soon will the rank system be up and running again?

How can I get rankings
You can't (without hacks).
how soon will the rank system be up and running again?
When v4.0 of the patch is released.

BTW, Lex is a noob. ;)

Really, I can't get in a rank withou hackerz/cheater?

Lex

You can't (without hacks).Wrong. First Blood has a very nice ranking system that you don't need any hacks for. All you'd need hacks for is getting that rank to be displayed on WormNet!BTW, Lex is a noob. ;)Wrong again.

Wrong. First Blood has a very nice ranking system
Well, of course.

But that's a third-party ranking system and isn't implemented in the game.
You have to manually submit your wins and losses.
That's more like someone tracking your progress on a blackboard with chalk...

Thanks Bonz, that was the info I was looking for =) I knew about those 3rd party ranking systems, but just stars next to my name dont matter to me too much without the blue/red flame health bar.

*cough*
Those can be enabled too, with the exact same hacks.
But it's quite useless if everyone can get them.

For example noobs like Lex! HA! :D

edit:
To everyone:
Whenever you see Lex online with a rank other than the lowest, bronze one, call him a noob please.
(Attempt to get another gag running.)

When v4.0 of the patch is released.

You are probably talking about W:A and I have Worms World Party. Will there be a ranking patch for WWP?

Plainplane:)

Lex

Yes. The 4.0 patch for WA will also be for WWP, allowing you to play WA with your WWP CD. The communities will merge.

Will there be a ranking patch for WWP?
Not that I know of

Lex

WWP players will be able to use a ranked server eventually, when the communities merge.

Deadcode has a plethora of items already on his plate as far as WA patching and updating is concerned, don't expect any 4.0 patch in your own lifetime. His interest in keeping up with his ambitious reform agenda seems to continue to wane. I for one am attempting to specifically focus on the narrow objective of restoring official and universal WormNET rankings, irrespective of the league structure, future patches, or other projects. With six years in holding a pledge to an empty promise, I don't see any greater priority, particularly as online play is the mainstay of WA and WWP alike.

I've been through that. Sallos Gunbound once had the maximum player limit set to 8, but one day Krrios increased it to 20. The result? You had to wait for an eternity for your turn to start, and half of the time you were killed before you got your first move. Since a week after that, no one has ever created a game with more than 5-6 players.

And that's Gunbound, where you get 20 seconds for your move, but you usually need no more than 5-10.

It could be great for tournament games, for spectators, though. Also, it would be really nice to have a full rope race tournament in one game.

Just because an option is there, people aren't forced to use it ;).
