Well I have been working my way through the challenges at the minute. But as im such a big worms fan and such a competitor, I have still only managed to get to number 8 as i have been trying to get as fast a time in each one as I can. I was just wondering if any of you would like to share any of your secrets with me and everyone else or even just myself as I am trying to beat a close friend of mine.

Kingdangler1 is my gamer tag and i would appreciate and tips or tricks. I will even share a few of my own as I think I am around number 17 on challenge 3. Well i was last night, prob around number 30 now.

Burrowing is how I got through the challenges fast. The computer is too good of a shot to kill them straight forward. Especially on Challenge 20.

Usually I just dig a hole and wait for the water to rise and then get myself to safety.

I've only been playing Challenge 1 since release (Gamertag Chin Tinsel - that's either Kilburn or myself playing).

The trick to getting around 6 seconds:
Select Jet Pack at the start, fly over to the first AI worm (Harlequin iirc), drop the Dynamite on him (slightly to the right side of the worm) and fly left.
The Dynamite should throw the worm to the left where he'll land on a Mine and take out Charlie, meanwhile the push from the Dynamite should knock Bobo into the drink also.

So that's the first 3 AI worms dead.

While still on the Jet Pack head keep heading left and up (going high enough so that you'll receive damage from the fall when you release), as you approach the AI worm on the far left, drop from the Jet Pack onto the 2 Mines nearby, the fall damage will stop the turn time counting up and the Mines should kill the last AI worm (or your fall damage will if you land near him).


That's the best method i could come up with although it is not the quickest and several people have now knocked us off the top of the Challenge 1 leaderboard! So there is a far quicker method out there... :D

We're extremely quick at selecting the Jet Pack and setting off. You should see us play, we're like ninjas (and not the BoP loot stealing ones from WoW) :)

We just don't know how we can shave off almost a second from our time to catch yours!

Well guys does neone have any more ideas on the other challenges?? I have a fair idea on challenge three if anyone wants to hear it altho I dont think its exactly how its done to give you the quickest time.

TwoFace99 has a time of 00:00:000 on Challenge 2.
DJNaff and SK0D have a time of 00:00:000 on Challenge 5.

ODP BRUTUS has ranked score of 2147483647, that's 5 digits higher than everyone else.

While I haven't perfected this, it IS possible to kill all the worms by dropping a Mine to the Left of Harlequin, then flying over to Charlie.

The blast from the mine will send Harlequin over the other two worms, and when he detonates it will push the other worm just close enough to the last to kill him also.

I'm only ranked 82, but I bet that technique could be perfected to acheive better results then I managed.
