Currently I'm listening to Test Match Special

England were really under the cosh with Pakistan 447-3, but a bizarre collapse has left them 451-6, still 64 runs behind England's 515 and with the tail exposed.

First up, Inzy managed to run out Younis Khan, who was on 173, then Faisaq Iqbal was out first ball, Collingwood's first wicket in Tests. Finally, Inzy got out hit wicket falling over his stumps attempting to sweep Panesar.

When I went trout fishing it was rubbish. The maggots weren't attracting the attention of the fish, who would idle by them without a care.

So I went and caught a load of grasshoppers and skewered them to the hook. It was awesome; the weights on the line pull them under the water as they try a jump to sweet, sweet oxygen. The effect is that they're swimming which is a very effective lure for the trout!

I'm currently listening to the Imperial March. Bo!

Listening to : Tool - Wings Sync* [Composed from 10,000 Days]

*Wings Sync is the combination of three of the tracks on Tool's album 10,000 days. The songs are purpousley made to synchronise perfectly with each other but are kept seperate on the album. Once synced it produces a absolutley amazing song. About the lead singers mother dieing and then entering heaven and speaking to God.

"Marie" is the middle name of Keenan's deceased mother, Judith Marie Garrison. As Keenan explains in his commentary on A Perfect Circle's aMOTION DVD, Judith suffered a stroke that left her partially paralyzed and wheelchair-bound. The two-part song, "Wings for Marie", is an opus dedicated to her. The length of time between the paralysis and her death was 27 years, or approximately 10,000 days.

Welcome to my secret lair on Skullcrusher Mountain,
I hope that you've enjoyed your stay so far,
I see you've met my assistant Scarface,
His appearance is quite disturbing,
But I assure you he's harmless enough,
He's a sweetheart, calls me master,
And he has a way of finding pretty things,
And bringing them to me...

CHORUS

Ohh, and I'm so into you,
But I'm way too smart for you,
Even my henchmen think I'm crazy,
I'm not surprised that you agree,
If you could find some way to be,
A little bit less afraid of me,
You'd see the voices that control me,
From inside my head,
Say I shouldn't kill you yet...

I made this half-pony-half-monkey monster to please you,
But I get the feeling that you don't like it,
What's with all the screaming?
You like monkeys, you like ponies,
Maybe you don't like monsters so much,
Maybe I used too many monkeys,
Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony,
Making a gift for you?

CHORUS

BRIDGE

Picture the two of us alone inside my golden submarine,
While up above the waves my doomsday squad ignite the atmosphere,
And though the fools who lead their foolish lives may find it quite... explosive,
Well it won't mean half as much to me, if I don't have you here...

I know it isn't easy living here on Skullcrusher Moutain,
So maybe you could cut me just a little slack,
Would it kill you to be civil?
I've been patient, I've been gracious,
And this mountain is covered with wolves,
Hear them howling, my hungry children,
Maybe you should stay and have another drink,
And think about me and you...

CHORUS

CODA

I shouldn't kill you yet...
I shouldn't kill you yet...

*cough*

Right, now set all that to a light/rock country backing for total hilarity. Serves n.

Soul Limbo - Booker T and the MGs.

I jump up and down on your arbitrary restriction! :pIt's not merely a "restriction". It's a standard, for simpler communication. If you gave me a track name in the format, "%title - %artist%" and said it was really good, I might want to get it. If, then, I interpreted that is "%artist% - %title%" and was searching by artist, I would discover no search results, and it would waste my time. Standards are made for ease of communication, not for the fun of annoying someone by restricting their methodology!

Standards are made for ease of communication, not for the fun of annoying someone by restricting their methodology!90% of the time, though, it should be obvious which is the artist.

The remaining 10%, you could guess and try both.

And over half my entries in this thread don't conform to either format.

For example:

I can just about hear the shower room's extractor fan.

EDIT: And for me it's more logical to put the artist second, because I'm treating the hyphen as a "by"
