Well, think of it this way: when cars drive along the highway, the tires certainly cause some vibrations against the road, which create much of the overall noise of the highway. From this perspective, the highway could be considered rumbling.

That track of his is kind of weird because it has an extremely distorted 'drum' loop throughout the entire song, with other oddities played over it. I've been listening to some of his other stuff and nothing else of his that I have heard has a beat, but I don't mind. See, I've never really been able to get into The Future Sound of London. For some reason, they just don't quite appeal to me.

I had that same feeling for the first 2 years of knowing and listening to them once in a while casually to "give them a chance". Then one day, my love for their music struck me. Now The Future Sound Of London is my 5th-most-listened-to band.

This sort of pattern has happened a lot with me. Most of my favourite bands, those I can listen to for many hours straight, are bands I didn't like at first: Boards Of Canada, Autechre, Radiohead, System Of A Down, The Future Sound Of London, etc.

I've heard Pachelbel and Bach metal interpretations from two friends of mine which were comparably good as that guy, so it's definitely credible.
