Lots of players don't like realtime bec it will be a huge mess. But why can't we put a cooldown for when you used a weapon, you have to wait a couple of 5-10 seconds before you can use a weapon again. and set a turn time so the wind change every min and the super weapons can be used later on or so whatever
I have some schemes ideas with realtime worms.
first of all:
''castle siege''
1 worm stand on a platform above a entrance which he have to defend for 5 or 10 min. The defender have to stay there and can't leave. 3 worms, which every worm is from a another team but the same color have to get in the entrance before the time limit strikes 0 or all there energy is gone. the attackers can't use weapons but they can use utilities. The defender can use weapons but no utilities. to prevent the attackers have fast walk and low-gravity all the time there is a 30 sec turn time. The map can be every theme or obstacles or funny things to make it interesting. there can also be two defenders and 6 attackers.
''Real time shopper''
Just normally shopper but every worm can move at the same time. every 30 sec, a crate spawns in the field. All the teams have to rope to the crate. 1 lucky worm can get the snatch. after a worm collected a crate he can attack the leading team. there have to be 3 worms each team so the worm who collected the crate can attack the leading worm. It's difficult to hit a roping worm unless you're good or you have a super sheep.
''Real time forts''
Just forts but every worm can move at the same time. 6 players, 2 teams every player have 1 worm.
