New theme reminds me of the Cars map from Armageddon.
Could this be a classic pack?

that would be awesome.... a junkyard theme is ok but i was hoping for a snow or lava themed one for the last DLC

Will this DLC also available for Playstation 3 and XBox or only available for PC (I hope not)?

It's likely multi-platform. Team17's strategy for Worms Revolution has been pretty clear since before release.

Yes, it is multi-platform but he says "for Steam", also the PC version got exlusiv things like the Level-Editor, Preorder DLC with exlusiv stuff, patches which put more options to the game. So i am interested in if the 4 DLC only for PC or not.

So, cool, the 4th dlc is on its way.
And then after it ? Is it the end of Worms Revolution ?
Will we see anything new ?

Well here's hoping it's just the beginning, rather than the end. Heaven forbid Worms goes down the annual release route...

No, now they answered somebody on facebook and said at the time they have only plans to release the fourth DLC for PC.
But why they only want to release the fourth DLC on PC I donīt understand.

But on facebook they wrote this last friday:
"The Level Editor was originally included in the Season Pass at the point that this was available to pre-order on the Steam Store. Since adding this to the main game due to feedback from the community and our fans, we are under an obligation to ensure that our loyal fans who choose to pre-order the Season Pass owners were not effected by this. As such we decided to include a fourth piece of DLC for them.
We currently have no plans to release this on the other platforms, although there is no saying that that will not change in future."

yeah i know i brought up the original question.... I think they were refering to the editor not the 4th DLC when they mentioned that.. I dont own a console so i dont know if you guys get the editor or not... if you did, then you probably wont be getting the 4th DLC.. maybe in time... but if you DONT have the editor, then you'll still get the last DLC im sure
Interesting to see how this ends...

It is obvious. Due to the DLC already having been bought by many in the season pass, it will obviously be released. T17 are not going to want to go to all the bother of refunding 1/4 of everyone's season pass. It is easier to just release the DLC. It was always coming out near the end of the pass, because T17 had clearly finished the first two DLC before release and had the third well near complete. They just changed plan and released everything as quickly as possible instead of spread out over the whole pass, which was great but inevitably leads to a slow last DLC.
The consoles didn't get the editor as it is a PC exclusive. This was always made clear by T17. No surprises. Consoles will get the DLC for sure if there is a season pass, but I fully expect them to get it anyway. If it's worth releasing for one platform it'll be just as worth it for the others, as it's all money for T17.
Hey, T17, to keep us all going whilst we wait, could you release the pre-order bonus pack for sale on Steam? Just like you did with Reloaded? Ta!

Well, for one thing, I'm really hoping the DLC has some awesome weaponry.

It would be nice if it was more then just one single theme seems we cant mod anything, cant even remember a past worms game that had never had a snow theme...

I was giving them what for on Facebook. The whole thing spawned from them showing off the Xbox retail version, "Worms Revolution Collection," (on disk, in an actual box ready for store shelves.) That quote earlier was part of their response to me. I said, "Unbelievable. So this is the end of XBL support for the game then?" If you guys read on, you saw where I accused them of ripping off the Xbox users: no editor, only one accessory at a time, mega-glitch that froze us out for a month...AND NO 4th DLC. They said, "Yes, the Xbox was unfortunate. We're sorry for the inconvenience..."
It's packaged and on the shelf. The front of the box says, "Includes All 3 DLC Packs."
4th DLC is PC ONLY. Period.
If you have Facebook, the whole thing is viewable here:

I know I sound like a terrible person. I'm really not. I just miss the good ole days when games were thoroughly tested and COMPLETE at launch. I absolutelty despise this new era we've entered into, in which, even the smallest of video game companies seem to think that everyone in their market wants their games broken into tiny fragments and sold over time so we can "casually" purchase as much or as little as we want. It obviously provides them with less pressure to finish the entire thing by their self imposed deadline. Give me a break. Give yourselves a break. I'm willing to bet that most people reading this will remember waiting months or even years for the new Legend of Zelda game to come out...after it's originally announced launch date. PUSH THE **** BACK UNTIL THE GAME IS READY!!! You're helping break the industry. I'm only 30 years old and I've been playing games my whole life. Even I am starting to get fed up. If you want to add to the game, do it a year later, after we've had time to thoroughly enjoy your lovingly crafted, perfectly polished, full length feature presentation. We love Worms. We will wait for you!

yeah no 4th DLC on any other platform.... kind of odd if you ask me.. no need to be loyal to the people that bought the season pass pre-order, I for one have that, I wouldn't care less if xbox got the 4th DLC at all, there is such a lack of content for W:Revolution that to restrict the last DLC to PC only is kind of an@l if you ask me... Should probably stop making worms on Vita before you actually finish the game you brought out over a yr ago.
Its disappointing in the way that this game, is an amazing game, the gameplay is very good, the campaigns are excellent, the new engine REALLY gives it new life to the whole series but then you totally handicap it with the abysmal lack of content and options that you can do in the game, and then kind of wonder why the heck people are still playing worms Armageddon which is what, a decade old now? T17 or the new T17 really need to take a look back at the first generation worms games and see exactly why the old games have such a massive following and the likes of reloaded/revolutions simply doesn't.
example: game ships with 4 themed landscapes...... is that a joke? compare that to every other worms release in history..
example: Worms reloaded editor doesn't work, it doesn't create the all important .kev files, so you cant share or play any custom landscapes online what so ever, other players all they see is complete black landscape
example: 4 worms per team? this is a restriction because the game is multiplatform now, to fit on regular resolution tvs.. even though we all know that PCs have the hardware, and the power to have more, 4 teams of 8 worms each made for some very unique and awesome matches that you wouldn't have in regular matches. Yes you added the ability to increase worm count on Rev, which IS AWESOME!! but only if you have 2 teams... Especially when you move the mouse to scroll from 1 area to the other of the landscape, felt odd the excuse was resolution of TV sizes for this when it doesn't technically matter if your just able to scroll?
example: NO MORE can you play with CPU teams with your friends online... not everyone really cares about ranking who plays worms, some people just want some enjoyment playing with mates in 2 on 2 or all4all matches against friends and AI...
example: lack of weapons... the old favs always return which IS GOOD, worms wouldn't be worms without the likes the banana bomb holy hand grenade or the concrete donkey, but people play Armageddon because of that weapon set, there have been some amazingly funny weapons all through the series, but instead of just adding to the collection of the older games, its dumbed down, weapons taken out and striped to just managing a few original weapons with perhaps just 2 or 3 new ones.
I can go on but I think I got my point across... W:Revolution could have been the most complete and best worms game ever made, but with the massive restrictions put on it, it was never going to be as successful as it should have been... This could be down to the games becoming multi-platform and if this was the case I hope that the next generation consoles are powerful enough to for T17 to make the worms they meant to with W:revolution.

I think they're taking so long with the 4th DLC because they are so busy with Worms Facebook.
Maaaan I really wish you didn't have to have a facebook account to play it. Looks fun.

Console season pass holders agreed a contract with Team 17 based on the fact that they would receive 4 DLCs by committing their money in advance of all 4 being made available. If Team 17 breach that contract they should refund the whole cost of the season pass, not a pithy 1/4 of it. Couple the smoke and mirrors detailed above about just not being honest about the 4th DLC on consoles, with the fact that they seem to have little to no intention to patch the trophy glitch, means that I have decided not buy Team 17 products any more. Annoyingly they won't even notice my lack of purchases which makes this whole monalogue fairly pointless. Simply using honest communication throughout, rather than ignoring so many messages about both the DLC and trophy patch, makes me think that they really only care, or can really only code, for PC users now. That's such a shame. Honestly I feel like I'm getting utterly blanked by someone that I (used to!) love.
Team 17, why you no love us any more?!

Yeah, it looked fun, but in the end, it has terrible physics, and has a business model as bad as all the free to play Facebook games I've played (they want you to spend money on things like limited uses of pretty much any weapon that's not the bazooka, which itself has been nerfed in terms of knockback power so people can't knock worms in the water and win that way).
You're not missing anything, and this is coming from someone who was actually part of the beta.
