There is now a patch available which fixes the saving crash on Worms Revolution.

If you deleted your save and need to start again then you'll receive 800 credits when you make a new save, and there's also a cheat code available that will unlock all the Campaign and Puzzle missions. This means you don't have to start all over again and can re-unlock your choice of classes.

The cheat code is:
Worms Revolution Cheat Code
1. Launch Worms Revolution
2. Select Help & Options
3. Select Credits
4. Press X, A, Y

Oh thank you guys this is awsome! This is actually my first worms game I've ever played and I love it! To know that it is fixed is great! I told all my friends and everybody is happy.

No, these are in-game credits that are used for unlocking the worm classes. This means that everyone can unlock their chosen formation of worms again straight away it they deleted their save rather than having to grind the credits back again in order to be able to do so.

That's great that I can access the game. But after buying the mars pack this morning and playing one campaign mission I was given all the achievements for completing all the original missions and puzzles even though I had only ever played one or two. Not really happy with that as it would have been nice to work to get them. Only last week did I get the achievement for completing the first worms arcade game campaign after years of owning it. Kinda bummed out about that but thanks for the fix.

Yes, 800 can just buy 4 scientists if you don't buy any other class of worms. The 1st worm of any class costs 80, the 2nd costs 160, the 3rd costs 240, the 4th costs 320, and the total is just 800.

And dear Bethamari, thanks for the game-crash-solving patch, I have all 16 worms again now, but there are several questions I have to ask:

1. According to the recent PC Steam update, some new features, like having a bigger formation, additional game & object options, wearing multiple accessories are available. Will these new features come to console version?

2. If the answer of the previous question is yes, however, the free(silver) members can't play rank matches due to the restriction of the free XBOX Live membership. Even you are gold member, sometimes you just can't find other people to play with you. Those "offline" people can't have enough credits to buy the additional 12 worms. Will you make an "in-game credits pack" DLC for those can't play or don't play online people? (With rank matches unavailable, the user can only get 2060 credits in campaigns, 800 credits in puzzles, 300 credits in Funfair DLC puzzles, unknown credits in Mars DLC campaign because of my poor performance, and the bonus 800 credits from the update. The maximum credits which an offline player can get are 3960+Mars mission credits, far from getting 8 worms for each class.)

I agree with these guys - I also had to delete my save file and am having to start over. Is there any chance of PS3 gamers receiving the same patch and code as the Xbox gamers? If so, when can we expect it to happen?
