With those "earn & spend coins" tasks. Used to show up if your below 5000 or above 10000 coins, now haven't seen him since TG update, is it removed?

It's been some weeks that business man tasks don't appear for me.

me neither, i thought that task was worth spending some coins for more free stuff

lol, this seems kinda pointless.. They removed businessman, but now "who need friends", "stick to your guns" and "search and destroy" tasks are more frequent.
And sometimes its much harder to earn 3-4k coins, than to win 2-4 games against an offline friend lol

And im not sure, but think he apperas once a week now, same as professor with his brag, sulk, gift and other tasks?

Here is poping up "stick to your guns" tasks to kill 6~10 worms with the cluster bomb (uzis and mines as well)...I agree that earning money is quite easy, ok...but with the power of the cluster now, the only options to kill a worm with it is to throw the worm in the water or maybe use it when the enemy is with 30 of life or less. And I've also noticed that the prizes for all of these tasks has dropped a little, I mean the weapons prize. Before it was used to give 4 or 5 uzis, shotguns, clusters, bananas and hhgs, for killing 4 or 5 enemys, but now it's giving 1~5 for tasks that requires you to kill 10~20 enemys, I think that the task has increased the difficulty but the weapon prize does not get as good as the mission, making it a little more hard to stock up after completing the task (sometimes you can only replace what you've spent and can't buy a little more to stock).

EDIT: I forgot to say about the "earn & spend coins" tasks: I'm truly missing them! It was a good chance to stock up, even in events like halloween! =P

I don't think that Team17 removed business man completely, but it's sure that they lowered its appearance rate. They made that because they noticed it was too easy to gain some stuff with his "pleasurable-to-do" tasks.

The "business" Worm (actually the "Style" Worm!) should still be in the game. I had the coders look into it and he's still there! He's just shy ;) Will get them to look again.

Another thing, when "Style" worm was more frequent, I had max around 15k coins, now without his spend tasks and with frequent "who needs friends" + "search and destroy" + "stick to your guns" I have over 30k coins lol He was actually making a good balance ;)

I'm on the same boat as you, Towelie, used to have 10k~15k coins and now I have over 30k.

And oh boy, so mysterious... But if he's still in the game and the criteria changed, maybe he appears only to the very wealthy or to the very poor. I'll start saving more money.

If his tasks were changed, though, and are no longer simply based on earning/spending coins, I'll miss him... And saying that he's still in the game wouldn't be exactly true...

Nope, he hasn't changed one bit! He's the same old Style Worm we know and love.

Don't know what have changed, last week I was with 2k, and this week I'm with 30k, in the middle of this time he doesn't appeared ;/

And as far as i know, that criteria was below 5k coins and above 10k coins, now i had both, below when winter theme showed up, and above, several days later, still no signs of him ;)

I'm quite curious now. LOL

In any case, I'll continue saving money... If I find him, I'll let you guys know.

PS: I saw a guy the other day whose worms were all wearing the tophat... maybe you have to buy (and wear) a tophat in order for style worm to appear?

Towelie is along the right lines. Nothing has changed in the coding as to why he's not coming up but I'll get QA to have a look out for him either way. He doesn't have as many tasks as the other Worms, so that's probably why.

I hate it when you guys treat us like we are stupid. We play the game a lot and we have been reporting his disappearance for more than two weeks, yet you rather believe we are impatient and dumb (and have been dwelling in between 5,001 and 9,999 coins for all this time) than to believe us. There was also a similar thread in the Bugs section if I'm not mistaken and more people saying that he wasn't showing up.

Besides, Towelie had already stated the criteria in the first post of this thread, and I believe it was common knowledge to most of us. If nothing was changed, why would we report his disappearance?

I can guarantee that he is still in the game Yuki! I've just found him in the game.

Also, been speaking to the coders today about this and the Style Worm is most definitely there. There are around 4-6 tasks of his and then his appearance is completely random.

There have been three weeks 'til now that I don't even see his face =(
the criteria, as you said, must have been compromised by the other task criteria...when I finish the tasks about 'using guns', 'winning games' or 'killing worms' they be idle until my stamina is full, and them, when I re-enter the game, there are new taks: 'use guns', 'win games' and 'kill worms' =]]
What I'm saying here is that maybe, and just maybe, the sequence in the program code may be interfering in the Style Worms criteria about showing up!
Would be great if you guys take a look at this, those tasks would be pretty welcome again =]

We've had a look into this luisromano. Nothing has changed about how the Style Worm appears. He does have less tasks than the other Worms and he is definately still in the games. I've discussed this with QA and seen him with my very own eyes! :)
