For example, I stay out for a month (yes, a month), and my friends kept gifting me daily. If I haven't accepted the current gifts, will my inbox stop receiving items until I accept the ones that already were sent to me?

I've currently got item stacks with up to 270 items. I assume if there is a limit it might be 999. Also, I'll count 9,999 as infinite as you're never going to reach that number anyway :p

I have ~40 friends, if all they send me one item per day during a month I can exceed 999 items in my inbox.

Man, it was going to take some time gifting them back!
