I have a suggestion for another DLC, a classic pack! I'm sure the community would love a DLC pack like this:

Theme - Forest

Hats - Fishing Hook, WW2 Pilot's Cap, Cheese Hat and Police Bobby Helmet.

Voices - Several Select Voices from WA, like American, Wacky, English, ect.

Headstones - Winged Worm Statue, Dung, Heart and Obelisk.

Weapons - Ferrets, Longbow, Minigun and Low Gravity.

Trinkets - Apple, Worm Plushie.

Glasses - Monocle, Silver Glam Sunglasses, Black Geek Glasses, Nuclear Protection Glasses (Like the ones the Worms pull out in Worms 3D when they're about to set off the nuclear strike)

Mustaches - Eyebrow Mustache (Will remove eyebrows from the head)

Campaign - Don Keystone is recording the Worm wildlife in the forest, when an old pal, Boggy B. arrives. Boggy B. doesn't know of the new classes, so he attacks your worms, thinking they are aliens.

Puzzles - Puzzles in the Forest!

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I strongly agree with the weapon suggestions.
EDIT: Especially the minigun.

No, it's not. The team have just recently finished the third pack and have been working on patch updates.

Cheers for the suggestions guys :)

I agree with the snow theme.
I also largely agree on the classic theme but how about new missions? There isn't that many in the campaign or the mars dlc.
Setup a classic deathmatch campaign (ala WA and WWP) and remake WA and WWP missions?

No, more puzzles, please!

Really, playing matches against the AI is not one of my desires these days. Granted, missions set you in a specific theme and usually offer different ways to efficiently accomplish them (like, using a scout to reach a crate in the middle, use the ufo you just found to move that damaged water bottle up to the group of enemies, then shoot it)... still not very exciting, really.

The puzzles, however - I do love those puzzles. And they work absolutely well, considering Worms a "physics sandbox". They are giving me this Portal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_(video_game)) feeling where you just try various possibilities while figuring out what to do and enjoy every second of it, especially the ah-hah!! moment in the end when you finally solved it. Worms Armageddon/World Party/Worms 3D also had great campaigns, by the way, being essentially a mix between regular deathmatches and puzzles. Though personally I prefer pure puzzles, it's just that bit more fun when there's no enemy to fight back and the only fight going on is your gray mass versus illusions covering the obvious. Remember the times you were disappointed about failing a mission just because the AI unexpectedly managed to get a "lucky" hit on you? See!

That said, I'd appreciate a Single-Player DLC pack adding loads of puzzles to the game. The only ways to disappoint me with this would be to add way too few of them (should be at least 30 to 40 puzzles) and to make them either too easy, or simply lame and unchallenging.

I'd buy the pre-order dlc if it became available for sale. Just saying... :)~

I'm with Worms_PRO on this, would ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!! to see more more theme packs, there is only supposed to be 4 in total but I prey there is more, the fun fair and mars theme are AMAZING!!! especially the mars one... and there is a medievil one and a secret pack yet to be anounced, but there is so many different idea's you can have for the themes its just crazy how amazing some levels could REALLY LOOK in the new graphics.. Themes ADD a SH!T ton of fun and playability to the game, its one of the biggest things in the game that will draw people to keep on playing it, to keep it interesting... Just Imagine what a hell-ish level would look like? the LAVA!!!! OMG EPIC!! and a christmas themed snow level, got santa and rain-deers running around in the backdrop with snow falling!! Robot Factory with all different mechanical stuff moving about in a factory with green toxic slime as the water!! or perhaps a car junkyard level, with cranes moving around, and of course, black oil gasoline sludge as the water!! I was never a big fan of the sport ones, but the worms golf level from reloaded would be awesome... a worms specific golf level where you got WORMS moving around in a golf course in the background, knocking golf balls around, or golf balls flying with the wind across screen!!!

I PREY TEAM 17 dont just stop at 4 themes.... it would be a REAL SHAME!! and a waste to what this engine can do... and bring

I don't mind puzzles, they are fun, but i do prefer missions as I find they are a lot more enticing and takes up more time. I can see that puzzles are desired more but I think the single player campaign was way too short and the mars dlc campaign was too easy. I do miss how the original games were and want them back.
How about a special free christmas/winter theme with seasonal based missions?

Better than that, how about a cheese based theme! I love that one in Worms Reloaded.

I preferred it when there were Missions and Deathmatches. It seems now that there is only Missions and Puzzles, except the Missions and actually Deathmatches in disguise. I think the Missions should have you accomplish proper goals rather than just 'kill everybody'.

Bump

Edited + Added some stuff to OP.

Also, I got another DLC suggestion: a weapon maker!

I really love how in W4M and WUM you can make your own weapons, so I see no reason why it should be left of of WR, so have it in a DLC package!

I might buy this game some day, so I would advice the following:

-Minigun: too much the same as the uzi, so no
-Ming Vase: maybe
-Battleaxe: rather boring weapon, though I must admit it can be a very tactical weapon, but I would say no

I would do the following weapons:
-Longbow: very useful weapon, not the most exiting, true, but fun. Though with waterpistols it might be obsolete
-Inflatable scouser: I think this is a very fun and original weapon and deserves to be in another worms game
-Crazy cows: this is one of my personal favorites, I'm not sure however if it deserves to be in the game as it is much alike the buffalo of lies, however it can be used to attack two directions which the bufallo of lies can't
-EDIT Ferrets: original, useful, not the most comical or spectacular but I think this is another weapon that deserves to be in another game

There are a lot of other nice weapons in the worms universe but I think the above three deserve to be in this game!

Yeah while the ming vaze and the minigun are real cool weapons they don't really add new gameplay possibilities. Ferrets, inflatable scouser and the longbow are all great examples of weapons that enrich the game with new possibilities. One way how the minigun could return would be if it be a jetpack like in that Androidgame, a machinegun-jetpack to rain death from above.

They are cool indeed, I like using the Ming Vase in Armageddon, but you can basicly use the banana bomb in the same way. Of course the Ming Vase also has a comical effect.

I like the classic airstrikes like French sheep, mail strike and Mike carpet bombing but they do not really add that much to the gameplay, they are fun though!

I'm not sure what Team17 stance on it is. It does seem they let out a lot of weapons which are not that interesting gameplay wise and added quite some that do (magnets, sentry guns, steal, water as a weapon and more).

I was originally planning to add the Longbow, but didn't because I really thought it would be in the Medieval DLC.

So since that was false, I'll put it back in, and also the Ferrets.

How about the Sheep-on-a-Rope froms Worms DC?
Or maybe the GBA exclusive chainsaw?
Or the mortar/grenade launcher?
Possibly the Handgun?
Suicide Bomber?MB Bomb?Homing Missile Strike?Homing Cluster Bomb?Scales of Justice?
Maybe add the Original Black theme

The bow is really handy, you can use it to shoot worms into mines or mines into worms, shoot worms a tiny bit in the sky to get them into the water, shoot worms from a ledge etc.

The cows are most useful for killing multiple sides or for wasting terrain so worms will fall in.

The ferrets and inflatable scoucer I have not played myself but I can see uses for it.

Ferrets for attacking multiple units in tunnels, or a enemy in a tunnel (which is kind of hard to do, but can be done with firearms). Though landscapes do not have the terrain objects but instead physic objects so it's not handy for what would be hard to reach places because of terrain objects.

The inflatable scoucer could be used as a creative way to launch worms into mines or the water or use it on friendly worms to get them somewhere high for example. I would assume heavies would be harder to lift than scouts with it.

I'd like to see the return of the sticky grenade, personally.

Or the mail strike :D
