Hi Guys.

I was wondering, i have this weird problem since the start of the game.
The game itself works fine (main menu and when playing the game itself), but all the ingame cinematics (movies) are stuttering badly, freezes up to half a second with sound cuts on the PC.

Do any of you experience any similar problem by any chance?

I sended a support mail like 2 weeks back to Team17, they told me to update my Nvidia drivers but i sended them a mail back that i already had the latest drivers and after that i got no response anymore :(

What are your system specs?

My Hardware :

PSU : PC Power and Cooling (Turbo-Cool 860w)
Motherboard : ASUS Rampage II-GENE (Socket 1366)
Memory : 6GB Kingston Hyper-X (PC3-10700)
CPU : Intel I7 920
GFX Card : Nvidia Geforce470 GTX (ASUS)
Sound Card : Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro

Trust me, the hardware is not the problem.
I can play the same ingame cinematics fine with Windows Media Player, it only happens in the game itself for some reason.

I have the same problem, and my specs aren't to blame. The Team17 logo intro stutters/skips and video files do the same. I don't experience any choppiness in the game, but the video files themselves never play properly.

@Skunk3

The only thing that i can think of that might be the problem are :

1 : Kazaa Lite Mega Codec Pack
2 : My Avira Antivir (Antivirus)

Do you have any of these installed also by any chance?
And i use Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit

Maybe we have certain common software (or hardware)
What are your specs?

I have neither of those installed. I'm using Vista 64 bit, fully updated... I have an Intel quad core processor with 4 gigs of ram and a 1 gig ati radeon mobility video card

UPDATE : I Found the problem , i tried it on 2 windows installations!

It is the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack as i suspected, if you uninstall that in your control panel, it will be all good again. (or if you have other codec-packs installed, try to uninstall it).
Somehow i think Worms Revolution is using a Library or Codec from the K-Lite Codec Pack instead of the one from the game itself, which is causing a conflict and stuttering movies.

@Team17 Devs, you might want to add this to your solution-list :D

Very kind of you to share your solution.
I do recommend to never install codecpacks.
Only install codecs which u really use because there are way more codecs in such packs then a user normally needs and there are also some outdated codecs included which could conflict.
