The pay-to-win strategy is not a good long-term business strategy. Some of the things that cost "credits" are fine, such as clothes and island customization. I do not know if new terrains cost money or not, but there should be more than the one terrain that's free, and others that are not. Only weapons that do not grant a significant advantage should cost money. Another thing that could be charged for would be different sound palettes like in the original game.
Do NOT charge for in-game advantage. This (and the pay-to-play strategy of "Reinforcements") will probably keep me from playing the game, despite loving the game-play. It will limit me to only playing people I know.
