View Full Version : Why canīt copy Savegame on USB-Stick? (PS3)
Why is it not possible to copy the savegame of Worms Revolution on USB-Stick?
I donīt want to buy PSN Plus every year only to save my improvements of Worms Revolution.
I'm very curious about that design choice as well. Were there some hacked saves ruining the online play in previous games? If so, how did that work?
I can understand (although I don't support or like it) this feature in games such as Dark souls where people can gain advantages over others and invade other peoples games but I don't quite see the point for Worms. I think this is very unfortunate, especially for those of us who have been unlucky with YLODS.
I specifically used Dark souls as an example above because after around 60 hours of playing the game I did get an YLOD and lost my saves which completely killed the game for me unfortunately. I really don't like having saves locked.
I don't want to sound all negative though. There are ofcourse many interesting and great new features in Revolution but there are a few cons that just stop the game from being as great as it could be.

More fool me - whilst trying to sort out an issue that meant I couldn't get online with my PS3 Worms Revolution, I had to pay for Playstation Plus just to back up the game save file. Sadly it didn't help resolve the problem, not happy that Team17 set the game save file to only be backup-able (sorry about that) online.....
