So the 3 gametypes were revealed back in July. After looking through the dev diary thread, and searching for any footage I could fine, it seems as though Rope Racing is not included, or just hasn't been shown. Is anyone else greatly disappointed by this? This is one of the most fun things in W2:A...

Why would such a fun gametypebe taken out/not included?

For those saying "just make it yourself". How do you go about making it yourself with no level editor in the 360, and not having specific layouts made for Rope Racing? You can't Rope Race on a simple deathmatch layout. 1. You don't spawn in the same area. 2. There's no goal. 3. The layout isn't designed for that kind of play, and definitely wouldn't work.

So... anyone who likes Rope Racing is just screwed, er what?

I have been anticipating this game eversince it was announced, as I've played the crap out of previous titles available for consoles, and yet it's stuff like this that makes you wonder "what were they thinking?!".

Am I wrong? Is there indeed Rope Racing in the game?

I really hope they decide to add a Rope Racing mode in a future release. The new rope mechanics would work perfect for it.

Rope racing? the rope in Revolution is quite limited so far.

And yeah I know they could make a rope racing mode with a slightly more "bouncy" rope, but still.

They've also changed the jetpack so its harder to use too.
