How come all games implement the 'random' shots that are NOT random. I mean if a bbomb or cluster bomb explodes the smaller bits aim for the places where no worms areas.
Is it the algorithm for games nowadays that the 'random' features are not random at all in fact the computer picks where to spread the bananas or clusters , shameful I think

Hey DJ1, the cluster weapons are indeed random! They fly outwards from the initial explosion into random directions to get a nice spread of the battle field. Nothing conspiratorial going on!

Really? I doubt that ,play a lot and you'll see they aren't random even have a go on the banana bomb challange. Then you mean as soon as they blow up they are already destined/heading for empty space.

Well I wrote the code for the banana bomb clusters and I can confirm that they are indeed purely random (or as random as the random number generator in flash will produce).

Believe me, it would have been a lot more work for me to implement a system which works out where the enemies / targets are and steer the clusters away from them!

Trust me, coders don't want to do extra work, it's definately random!! ;)
