A preorder is ordering a game before it comes out, therefore, you cannot play it until it gets released.

Well thats fair enough but then why can they let you download it if you cannot play it until the release date? It isn't clear.

Probably so you can enjoy the game the minute it's unlocked, instead of having to wait some extra time for it to download.

Yeah i suppose so and it saves a £1. But i was so disappointed when it had downloaded and found out i couldn't play it. I wonder if it will need a patch to play it.

You don't understand, you just need to wait till 1:00 PM on October 10th to play it, then it will work.

Well I have never preordered a game from the psn store before so I don't know how it works and thats why i thought you needed a patch on release day to make it work.

is it on PS3?
could be a PSN limitation (impossibility to order something without downloading) maybe
maybe that's why the lock was put

The code changed now, and says its not usable untill the release date.

I dont even see an option to DL it yet.
