The guys from Yogscast have been provided early keys for Worms Revolution from Team17 and in return they are providing early gameplay videos for us :)

Feel free to discuss in this thread. The graphics, the weaponry, the classes etc. Certain people might want to take the opportunity to complain about physics and stuff because apparently it's what makes them happy! Just kidding :pI wish I were just kidding

Anyway yeah, I think this looks quite interesting and I'm looking forward to release.

Thanks for sharing!

It definitely looks pretty in motion, but it makes me doubt that the game will run at all on my laptop.

The Boggy B weapon is a pretty cool idea, I like the "drunk" aiming cursor idea, I wonder how that's going to play out when you can aim with the mouse. I'm also wondering if you have to have his grenade collide with that background layer in order for it to explode, would it keep going and miss entirely if you threw it into an "empty" space?

I'll have to play around with the game a bit before I can make any judgement on how the water will impact the gameplay, my initial impressions based on the video is that the water doesn't seem like it does too much, like being poisoned except you can cure yourself on your next turn by jumping out of it, but we'll see.

Crates landing and then falling off of their ledge once the next turn started was pretty funny, I guess with the new physics the game can't just wait until everything has stopped moving entirely or you'll be waiting forever.

Overall impressions based on the video are that it looks pretty cool though, it's definitely trying a number of new and innovative things which is always good for the series.

You know, if you didn't set up such a confrontational and negative environment with comments like these...

I had lots of fun on the release of Worms Reloaded and people complaining about the new physics on the rope, and then complaining again when it was fixed (must I say that I had no complaint in either).

I just watched part 1 and it's intriguing; I get the feeling that many players will have to take hours of training in order to master skills with the new rope.

Thanks for posting these Thurbo.

There's been a few more video previews floating about. I've added them to here (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=58359).

This video shows some interesting things. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw3CMJg1_tI&feature=youtu.be&hd=1) The controls are fully remappable (even the F keys for quick selecting weapons) and there are all sorts of video options including anti-aliasing. Which is definitely great to see!
