Actually I think it isn't just a similarity. It looks like sometimes, people on the Random Online battles actually are AIs. Their obvious behavior shows that (example: step-by-step walking and then almost immediate firepunch; a smooth aiming, etc).
Why does this happen? Were these people offline when the battle started, if so, WHY are they eligible for the "Random Battle"?

When it seems to take a while to find an opponent then often the given opponent is AI.
Guessing this will solve itself once there are a lot more players, at which time we'll stand a better chance of finding a ''live'' opponent...and one of a similar level of experience too.
